The theme for this month is to use Bright and Sunny Colours.

I have used the Chocolate Baroque image Canary Bird Rose.
I must admit that I have a thing about a lot of images having too many leaves and not enough flowers, but in this case the flower is so large that it stands out agains all the leaves, especially in bold and bright colours.
Swiss Dots embossing folder coloured to match the image. and as I sometimes do, I have paper pieced the flower!

It is a gorgeous flower isn't it Kath, one of my CB floral favs as well and looks glorious in the orange and yellow shades. I think the leaf/flower balance is good on this one as the leaves are fairly small.

I love CB Canary Bird Rose, it's really outstanding and your colours make it adorable! Love the embossed background too, it adds softness!
