Allsorts challenge 613 - Feminine

Challenge 613 at Allsorts and Ellie has chosen the theme of ...

Feminine

We have two prizes for you this week. Our first prize is from  Stamp Addicts with this lovely die set,

We also have a prize from Chocolate Baroque which is a sentiment stamp.

For my card I have used Penny Black 2719 - Gone Shopping.

Well what do we females like to do more than anything else (apart from crafting)?

Going shopping of course or so the men in our lives think.

The subtle papers are old ones from Lily of the Valley
The die is Memory Box - Tessatina Border and the image die is by MFT.

Had a real shock yesterday lunch time as there was a knock on the front door,  Chris answered and then came in with a food bag, it contained 2 fish, 1 portion of chips, a pot of peas and two tea-cakes.
They were from a local fish and chip shop that we have never been too. The guy said they have been ordered from Australia, well that could only be Jude (our Daughter).
She had been talking-to Chris and he must have said at one point that we haven't had fish and chips from a chippy for years. She thought she would alter that.
They were very nice.

Other good news this week is that Son-In-Law is home on leave hasn't been home since end of October, the boys are over the moon and of course, so are we and especially Lynda. But just about 4 months swanning around the Caribbean can't be bad at this time of year.

Thank you so much for popping by and please do pop over to the challenge blog to see the lovely creations from my team mates.

Kath x

What a lovely thoughtful surprise from your daughter, would have loved to have seen the look on your face when your fish and chips arrived- and how lovely for your grandsons to have their Dad back home.

I have to say that I would have been shopping a whole lot more in my time if I looked like this little lassie! (Well, I guess I sorta did for a short time back in 1970, but then I had no money, lol!) I love your design! I think surprising you with fish and chips was such a sweet thing for Jude to do and I'm delighted for Lynda and the boys that your SIL was able to make it home after so long away! I hope you are keeping well! Hugs, Darnell

A super cute card Kath. How kind of your daughter to order you fish and chips, I bet that was a lovely surprise for you both. Good to have your SIL home too. I could do with a few months in the Carribbean, couldn't you? :) Take care and I hope you have a good week x

Oh! I bet that was a nice treat!! Making my mouth water as it's nearly time for me to eat. Can smell the Vinegar from here. Hats of to your daughter for sending it to you. How lovely your Son In Law being home. Nice being at least somewhere warm for so long...but, so much nicer to be home.
