Allsorts 611 - Masculine

Good Morning, Our lovely Wendy has chosen the theme for this weeks challenge and she would love to see some ......

Masculine creations as your entries.

My card this week uses an old Craft Obsesions image - Lazy Boy

The papers are very old Lily of the Valley.

Paper pieced the chair, trousers and top from the same paper pad as the background.

The prize for this week is this lovely Masculine stamp, aren't images for men hard to find?

I had a really lovely surprise this week as an old crafting friend called on her way to her Sons house, who  now lives near to me, she did not come in and we stood the correct distance apart but it was so hard for me not to give her a hug, especially as she bought me a bunch of flowers as she had heard that I am not well.
We had some really good times, quite a few of us, met once a month at the Brighouse Old People Rest Centre and we all did some crafting and swopping ideas.
Another blast from the past,

Thank you for popping by and any comments you are kind enough to leave.
We had a pretty feeble attempt at snow last week.

Kath xx

Super looking masculine card there Kath. Great paper piecing as always.

We had a good attempt at snow last Sat/Sun/Mon and it's turned rock hard and icy now . . . still loads of it lying around!

Lovely to hear you had a nice surprise this week.

Take care my friend,
Hugs, Sarn xxx

What a perfect example of awesome paper piecing Kath! A great man card!
Secret - he reminds me of my other half asleep in his chair with the remote in one hand and the chips (if I let him!) in the other!) x

Brilliant card Kath, he certainly is relaxing! Love the paper piecing.
How lovely to get an unexpected 'visit' from your friend- even seeing someone for a few minutes- at a distance- is a real treat these days. Sorry to hear you've been poorly, hope you feel better soon.
Take care

Just what you need when your unwell, a chat with a friend with a bonus of getting flowers too.
Take care

I really felt the need to respond to your comment on my blog as I do not understand why you think my entry is strange. I thought any "mature" man would appreciate the sentiment! But I do realise that our styles are completely different and that might be why you didn't get it. No offence intended as I'm sure none was on your part just for what ever reason could not let it go. x
