Allsorts 11th Birthday - I love......

Good Morning, a special occasion today as we are celebrating our...
11th Birthday, over at Allsorts.

Lynn has chosen the theme of  'I love............'

So we would like to see what you love the best in card making.

Our lovely sponsors for this weeks challenge are...

ARTEZA -Real Brush Pen Set of 96

Pinksy Doodles - A choice of 5 items/paper packs

Tattered Lace - Foundations Champagne Die
Studio Light - Layering Stamp Set

A prize from me drawn from those leaving a comment on my blog.

Here is what I love most in card making.
I love Paper Piecing

On both cards I have used the Tattered Lace Floral Swirls embossing folder.

The first card is using the Woodware stamp Cosmos Collection.
I stamped the image in Memento Bamboo Leaves on card stock then again onto some pale blue paper and cut the out and placed on the card stock image.
Stamped the sentiment with Memento - Bahama Blue.

The second card is using Penny Black Awaken, still one of my favourite PB flower stamps
I stamped this in Memento Tuxedo Black, again on to white card then again onto some multi coloured paper and cut them out and paper pieced the image
I did add a double dose of wink of Stella onto this card but does not show on the photo.
Computer generated sentiment.

I also have a third card for this challenge using papers from our sponsor Pinky Doodles.

Using the blue (snow or spots) papers and different shades of the green papers for the trees.
Each colour ways have a range of light to darker shades of the papers.
The trees are a stamp from Woodware
I stamped the sentiment, which also is from Woodware, directly onto the paper, then coloured parts of it in red.

Thanks so much for popping by and any comments you are kind enough to leave.

Kath x

Gorgeous cards Kath and I have to say that my favourite is the one with the oval frame. I love the depth of colour in the flowers contrasted against the crisp whit background. I rarely do paper piecing but I know where to come when I need some advice lol! Take care and have a good week x

A real feast for the eyes today Kath, each one beautifully presented. I keep going back to the one on the top right, the hues of colour in the paper really are eye catching.

Beautiful paper piecing they all look so lovely. But like Brenda the second floral one really catches the eye, the paper is just made for the stamp and you used it so well.

Your paper piecing is amazing, I don't have the patience (or dexterity) for much. My faves are the blue flowers (both cards), perfect on the embossed background.
Thanks for the chance to win your gift for the big 11th birthday celebration : )

You are SOOOO good at paper piecing too - as your trio of cards show.

I love all three . . . but am particularly drawn to the PB Awaken card. It's a beautiful image and looks great in the layout you've used, together with the paper pieced colouration.

Happy Saturday!

Hugs, Sarn xxx

Don't suppose you could let me have your recipe for tomato and oinion soup ? I have Norm's toms growing out of my ears here . Last count there were over 300 still growing on the vines. The neigbour is sick of em and have even given them away to her Dad to scoff. Not one of Norms brightest ideas for beating covid bordom!! hugs Mrs A.

You are the queen of paper piecing Kath - you always choose the perfect paper for each image. The two floral cards are absolutely beautiful and using the dotty papers in a variety of colours for your Christmas card is just genius! Vicky x

PS. Thanks for making me chuckle with your 'have your paid your electricity bill' comment on my blog!!
