Over the Rainbow

The challenge this month at Stamping Sensations is...
Somewhere over the rainbow.
Here is my take on the theme.

I have used Woodware stamp Fab Flowers.
My Distress Oxide pads are in shock as they have finally been used.
No make of the sentiment but stamped with Kaleidacolor - Melon Melody.
Paper pieced the flower heads

You can have an idea for a card and it all goes together so smoothly.
Unfortunately this was not one of those occasions.
Two days it took me, I know, such a simple card, nothing went right.
The sort of border around the card is not on the card but is my background.

Thanks for popping by and any comments you are kind enough to leave.

Kath x

Love your gorgeous CAS rainbow-coloured card Kath! Glad you broke out those Distress Oxides, the colours are so vibrant. It may not have gone together as easily as you hoped but the end result is lovely!

Isn't it funny how that can happen with crafting?! VERY relatable Kath! But whatever tribulations you went through making this, it has turned out to be gorgeous. I love the quirky flowers, those bright rainbow colours and the way they merge into each other. Vicky x

Hi Kath

Yep, strange how some cards just come together and others need an abundance of patience.

The finished look is so lovely though .. .. I love the rainbow and those cute little flowers (especially the one with the heart LOL!!).

I hope you are a bigger fan of your Oxides now.

Love Jules xx

Thanks for you comment Kath. I made a boo boo, so had to delete my post but unfortunately, you can’t delete it from the newsfeed, so it may continue to confuse people for a day or two. Crafty hugs, Sandra xx

Great idea to do the rainbow this way. I like it way better than just a half ring of colour!

Take care
