Allsorts challenge week 518 - Pretty in Pink

Good Morning - our lovely Tracy has chosen the theme for this week and it is ..

Pretty In Pink

The prize for this week is this lovely layered stamp set

But before I show you my card we have a special two week challenge coming up on the 18th of May.
Our 10th Birthday at Allsorts, we have some fabulous prizes for this great occasion. BUT you really MUST read the challenge rules for this two week challenge.

Here is my card for this weeks challenge.
Using Penny Black 384K - Ginger - 2008

I have to admit that the colours are a mixture of pink and peachy pink
The flower card is from the Hobby House and the subtle pink paper is from a pad from the Works.
I have paper pieced her dress from some old Craftwork Cards papers.
The flowers (which were white and I have coloured with Promarkers) are also from the Hobby House.
Backing card brown.

Well all good things must come to an end and my daughter flew back to Oz on Wednesday, sad but a good time was had by all, looking forward to the next visit which could be a couple of years away.

I will be back tomorrow with a few more posts, most unusual for me.

Thank you so much for popping by and any comments you are kind enough to leave are very much appreciated.

Kath x

I always love your paper piecing Kath, so effective and works well on this Penny Black image. The flowers worked well coloured with the promarkers, I do that often.
Happy crafting

Such a pretty card Kath, lovely papers and fabulous paper piecing. It's hard to say bye to family when they live so far away but you have her next visit to look forward to xx

How lovely to see this sweet stamp again...there was a time that these cute PB girls were everywhere, now it's rare to see them which is a shame! Love the design and paper piecing too.
I hope you made the most of every minute with your daughter, expect the time went all too quickly!
Enjoy the long weekend Kath...shame the weather isn't as good as the last bank holiday...but at least I've got the washing dry!! :)

A very pretty card Kath. I'm pleased to read that your Daughter's visit was a happy one. It must be so hard for you not being able to see her as often as you'd like to. Have a good weekend x
