Allsorts 482 - Music and Rudolph Day 08/18

Our lovely Wendy has chosen this weeks theme (and yes, we are back to our weekly challenges)
She would like to see something related to MUSIC on your creations.
This is the prize for this week lucky winner.
Tattered Lace Dies

For my card I have used another LOTV image and also LOTV/Nitwits papers
Image coloured with ProMarkers
Sentiment stamp is by Verses, must admit I have never heard of them but it was on sale and as I did not have a vertical sentiment stamp, grabbed it. Think it was £1.00.

Now the card for our last challenge was for my Great-Nephew Stan and this card will be for his Birthday, next July! well he took up guitar lessons after I had made his other card.
No doubt he will have packed them in by next July but.....

Also today is the August Rudolph Day challenge over at ScrappyMo's so here are my cards for this challenge.
Only three RD's days left for this year, how time fly's, well it does when you are old but seemed to drag when you were young.

Same image but just swapped the colours around on some parts of the image.

I made the shape of the card from a set of dies by MFT.
Paper are LOTV/NitWits, again coloured the pink stripe with a red Promarker.
Image is a Whimsy Stamp - Rudolph - first time I have ever bought one of these stamps but thought it was cute.
Sentiment -  Computer generated.
Image coloured with ProMarkers.

Thanks so much for popping by and any comments you are kind enough to leave.

Hi Kath,
Happy Rudolf Days.
Your music themed card is so lovely and that stamped image is adorable and so beautifully coloured.
Love the paper also.
Your Rudlof one is also gorgeous and what a very unusual sahpe.
The Rudolf stamped image is so cute and he looks a little bit like he has been on the tipple. LOL.
Beautifully coloured as well.
Thank you for joining the Rudolf Challenge.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L. DT

Both lovely design Kath, love the image on Stan's card, looks like the little lad is really concentrating on learning his instrument, perfect choice of backing papers too...hopefully will still be appreciated next year! :)
Cannot believe it's already Rudolph Day again, haven't made anything for it yet, hopefully I'll find some time to enter! Your card is gorgeous, love the shape and the sweet reindeer stamp (Jenny's right he does look a little tipsy!) love how you alter the paper to match your colour scheme, a useful tip to remember
Happy weekend

Your allsorts card is great...perfect for a young fellow learning guitar.

The Rudolph dAys card is great! Loving that cute image and your colouring on both. You always amaze me and get multiples done!

I also really like the die you used to mat the image...cool corners!

Thanks for taking part in the August Rudolph Days Challenge.

Me again. Forgot to mention that Sam's cards are now up on my blog. The internet here is spotty. It has been windy and the internet seems to fade in and out...taking with it any undelivered emails. Sam's cards were added this morning!

Lovely selection of cards, Kath. I love the image in the first card and the background paper is perfect. That was a lucky find to find the vertical sentiment. Your Christmas cards are so cute, what an adorable reindeer. xx

Loved this cute LOTV image, done up in bright colors (and that pup is just too sweet). You always have the perfect background paper to complement your images too. Rudy with his hanging ornaments just made me smile. I love both those DP's too. I like the stitched rounded edges of these dies very much also. Good for you at being so ahead on Rudy Day! TFS &Hugs

I love your two designs, Kath! I had a chuckle about how Stan will no doubt have given up the guitar by next July! So true! Perhaps you should cover the happy birthday panel with "good job" and just surprise him with an unexpected card! It's too adorable to waste! And your Christmas card design with a (drunk?) Rudolph is right up my alley! Just look at that fellah! Makes me smile all over my face! Good for you for making two of them with different pp while you had everything out!! Hope all is well! Hugs, Darnell

Hi Kath thanks for letting me know I had it scheduled for later, and had to delete it when it published early, probably something I did.
