Allsorts challenge 605 - Anything Goes

Happy New Year to you all.

Welcome to the first challenge for 2021 over at Allsorts.

Ellie is our host for this week and she has chosen the theme of....

Anything Goes

Our lovely sponsor for this weeks challenge is.....

Chocolate Baroque.

Our sponsor Chocolate Baroque will be on Hochanda TV with a One Day Special at 6pm Monday 4th January.

Chocolate Baroque is a small independent art and craft company, based in the historic market town of Barnard Castle in County Durham in the North-East of England and is owned and run by Lesley Wharton.
We design our own range of natural rubber art stamps from Sue's hand drawn originals, complemented by typography from Lesley.  The rubber stamps are made in house, by David, to our very exacting quality standards. And nothing gets past his eagle eye!

The prize this week is this Chocolate Baroque limited edition Fragrant Honeysuckle stamp.

Here is my card.
I have used Chocolate Baroque - Wish Flower (I love this image)
I made the chalk background and then stamped the image on the background and then paper pieced it with some Crafty Individuals papers which I heat embossed with Cosmic Shimmer - Persian Sea.
I placed the paper pieced images onto the card with sticky pads.
I then did the same with the butterflies from the Chocolate Baroque 'Breath of Spring' collection.

We had a lovely Christmas Day at our youngest Daughters with our two super Grandsons (their Dad was in  the Caribbean with owner and guests on board one being Lionel Richie but Dad did get to FaceTime them).

On Boxing Day evening my eldest Daughter ran a quiz from Australia using something which I can't remember what it was called, but we could see all of us which included nieces and nephews and their family too. It was great fun.

Hope you all have had a lovely Christmas and New Year, best wishes for 2021

Thanks so much for popping by and any comments you are kind enough to leave.

Kath x

Beautiful work on that chalked background, love the soft color. The paper pieced flowers are lovely. How exciting that your SIL had such famous guests and glad he got to 'facetime' with the boys for Christmas. So glad you were able to be with your family all over the world too! TFS & Happy New Year. Hugs. Mary H.

Hi Kath

A great card .. .. love the look of your chalk background.

I gave myself a cardmaking/blog break between Christmas and New Year but my fingers are now itching to get cracking again.

I hope you enjoyed Christmas (it sounds like you did) and I wish you all the very best for 2021.

Love Jules xx
