Allsorts 597 - Add lace - real or faux,

Good Morning and another week and another challenge over at Allsorts.

Lynn has chose the theme for this week and she would like to see ....

Lace - Real or Faux.

Our sponsor for this week is Chocolate Baroque.

They have kindly donated  this lovely stamp for the prize.

Chocolate Baroque will be on Honchanda tomorrow at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. with a great variety of their lovely stamps.

The papers and image are from Crafters Companion - Floral Spray Collection.
The Dainty Lace die is by Die-namics, I cut the dies in the same paper as the backing of the card and image.

Well that is Halloween and Bonfire night over with for this year. For the first time ever we had no-one Trick-or-Treating, we did have a small bonfire and fireworks on the 4th (as lockdown started on the 5th. The boys and Mum and Dad came down and we were well spaced out in the top garden. I think I must be getting old as fireworks were definitely not what they used to be. Ethan, nearly 16 took it ok but I think he found a lot of them disappointing too, Austin 11 BUT NEARLY 12, as he keeps reminding us, thought it was great.

Thanks for popping by and any comments you are kind enough to leave are very much appreciated.

Kath x

A really pretty and feminine card Kath.
There are 5 boys in the Farmhouse at the top of our barns - they had a small display last night (as 5th was foggy). Consisted of some sparklers and one big rocket which set off about 10-12 sprays when they reached their right height and lasted about a minute. Apparently this one firework cos a fortune.
Normally they all go to a proper display and I can understand why - can also understand why home fireworks may not impress older kids too! (As well as making too much of an impression on their parent's bank balances!)
Stay safe. x

Hi Kath,
such a very wonderful card and such pretty paper used.
Love the faux lace die you have used a great idea using the same colour as your matt layer.
So glad you managed to have a Bonfire get together.
Your Grandsons are the same age as 2 of mine only the nearly 12 year old is a girl in my case.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

A beautiful card Kath, pretty papers and topper - lovely colours.
We had a few fireworks in our area on 4th, 5th and 6th - fortunately our dogs don't take any notice of them.

I know we live in the middle of nowhere but still usually hear firework in the distance, not this year though, the only one I heard were on TV in the background at Anfield last weekend.

Love the pretty summery colours.

I'm glad you were able to have a get together with your loved ones Kath. I think I must definitely be getting old because I would be delighted if there were never fireworks again (Eva hates them) or trick or treaters!!!

I love the colours of your floral card with its lacy borders! Vicky x

Hi Kath

Such a lovely pretty card .. .. your image/sentiment panel is gorgeous and the lace die cuts finish everything off beautifully.

Pleased you were able to have a firework gathering with your family before the lockdown kicked in. I had a bride who got married that day .. .. .. she was so fed up with her dates keep being cancelled .. .. but is happy now.

Hope you are finding plenty to keep you busy.

Love Jules xx

A very pretty card Kath. I'm always relieved when Halloween is over and done with. We didn't have any trick or treaters either this year. I'm pleased that you were able to have a little bonfire and fireworks before the lockdown started again. We've just been trying to make the most of our early morning walks while everywhere is still quiet. Take care and stay safe x

No Trick-or-treats here either all seemed so strange.
Lots of fireworks though. Wish they kept them to certain days instead of random days and times. Feel for the people with nervous animals x
