August challenge at Penny Black and More

Good Morning
Another monthly challenge at Penny Black and More and the theme for this month is..

For Boys or Men.

So a good chance for you to catch up on those dreaded male cards.
The sponsors for this month are...

 Penny Black

 Crafts U Love

plus A Clarity Art stencil

Using Penny Black4060 - Hedge Word

The background papers are some very old Stamping Up.
Image coloured with Promarkers and added the name Paul, which just fitted perfectly.

Not going to mention the weather this week but haven't seen so many ducks for ages.

(Not many may get that but there was an old saying, when we had lots of rain, that it was nice weather for ducks)

Please do take a look at the challenge blog to see the lovely creations from the rest of the team.

Thanks for popping by and any comments you are kind enough to leave.

Lovely stamp Kath, and your clean and sharp design makes it perfect for a masculine card.
Not had the rain here...well certainly nowhere near as much as further north, hope you haven't had any flood problems and the sun shines for you soon.

Better late than never as they say Kath. When I rang home yesterday they said the weather was improving so hope it's the same your way. Here it's hot but quite bizarre to go from 30deg and fifteen minutes later up Mont Blanc it's minus 1. Your card is perfect for the theme, the colours work well. Bx

As a crossword puzzle fanatic, I LOVE this card, Kath! What a super fun way to personalize a birthday card! I am going to look for this to make birthday cards for the twinks!! p.s. We use that same expression here! Or some say, "Good weather for frogs!" Hugs, Darnell

Clever use of the crossword here on your card. Certainly had our share of thunderstorms and torrential rain here too. It was our wedding anniversary on Wednesday. We chose August thinking it would be nice weather but on our wedding day we had thunder/ lightening and even hail stones. 48yrs later and no change this year either. The Doc said it was an omen then and a curse following us ever since!! Lol.
