Allsorts challenge week 519 - Transport

Transport is the theme for the challenge over at Allsorts and has been chosen by the lovely Wendy
Transport
Our sponsor this week is Clever Cuts
Which is owned by Ali Reeves
Here is the prize

Before I go on to showing my card another gentle reminder that next week will be
Allsorts 10th Birthday
We have some fabulous prizes on offer.

This is my take on the theme.

The image is a Penny Black stickeroo and funny enough it is called ....
Girl on a bike!
As it was a circular image I made a circle card.

Papers are from Bloom and Grow collection, very old but I loved them and I can not even remember the makers, for some reason Bo-Bunny seems to come to mind, but knowing me I will be wrong.

I had actually run out of the numerous sets of these papers I had but a fabulous blogging buddy sent me a 6 x 6 full set of them and I have been very sparse in using them because I wanted to save them but the colours really did fit this lovely image.

My next few posts will be scheduled and I do apologise that I will not be able to comment on your posts for 10 days, but I thank you in advance for any comment you are kind enough to leave me, while I am away.
I was all so very sad to hear of the death of Freddie Star, I had really mixed feelings about him, but he did really make me laugh at times. All the best comedians seem to be leaving this mortal toil.

Thanks so much for popping by today and any comments you are kind enough to leave are very much appreciated.

Perfect card for the theme Kath - great minds and all that. I recognise the DP's as I had them as well, My Minds Eye comes to mind as we had them in the shop and used them in a class once. Have a good weekend.

I am pretty sure I have that backing paper too but can't think of it's origin either. Looks good with the Stickeroo. Hugs Mrs A.

When I first saw your card I thought you had been in my craft room lol! I have those papers (and had the stickeroo as you know) and I think they are Bo Bunny - if you are in need of more let me know as I can spare them.

A lovely card and perfect for the theme.

A lovely circular creation (I really must do more shaped cards) - and no wonder you're using those papers frugally... they're gorgeous - the type you just want to keep and stroke every now and again!
