Penny Black & More - April -MId month reminder

I am here today with my first post for the Penny Black and More  challenge as a member of the Design Team.
This is the April mid-month reminder post

The challenge for April is Springtime

Here are the lovely prizes for this months challenge.

The first three are from Penny Black

and the forth prize is this lovely stamp from Woodware

Using Penny Black 40-668 Flutterby

- but on this occasion I have not used the butterfly because I wanted to use a circle card for this image and the butterfly was too large and I haven't seen any butterflies around my neck of the woods yet,
(probably see one tomorrow)

I have paper pieced the leaves and coloured the image with Promarkers.
The background papers are from Crafty Individuals.

Thank you so much for popping by and any comments you are kind enough to leave.

Two of my favourite stamp companies.. Especially like the Woodware one. Love tulips too and what a splendid bunch these are. Butterflies are in abundance in my garden. Yellows, whites, a Red Admiral and also one we only get here in Hampshire the little Meadow Blue. Another beautiful day.Just sat in the garden now having a cuppa. Got to move shortly though as I have a hair appt. later this morning. Hugs Mrs A.

It's a gorgeous stamp Kath (even without the butterfly:), I love the spring flowers they always look so vibrant especially when the sun shines on them , as it is at the moment! Beautiful colouring and paper piecing, great choice of colours for the tulips, love the circular shape too! A lovely creation for your debut!
Have only seen 2 butterflies here so far...plenty of bees and a stonking great wasp...but only 2 butterflies.

So glad to have you on the team Kath! Welcome again!
Your card is so beautiful. Love this tulip stamp and you have colored it so beautifully. Wonderful circle shape too with the stitched borders!

Strangely enough Kath we have had quite a few butterflies this week - but then we have had unseasonably good weather (well unseasonably for this neck of the woods anyway!)
Such a pretty stamp and lovely colouring on your shaped card. Great job! x

Sorry to be late welcoming you to the Penny Black team Kath (otherwise engaged as you know) but it's lovely yo have you on the team. And a beautiful Tulip creation to start with and I also love a circle card.

I've not seen any Butterflies yet either, although our neighbour two fields up told me she was going Butterfly spotting across our paddocks the other day so I hope she has more luck.

Have a lovely Easter,

Well I can't believe it's been so long since I've visited your blog - we were away on holiday for a while, then it's been running to keep up with myself since! Also our lovely new grand-daughter has been keeping me occupied a little... she's nearly 1 now and I'm just totally smitten!!!

Now, onto your card! This is absolutely gorgeous... loving the circular shape - and tulips are my favourite flower so I love the image.. beautifully coloured!
