Allsorts challenge 509 - Four Seasons - choose your favourite

This weeks theme has been chosen by Tracy and the theme is

Four Seasons - Choose your favourite

Spring/Summer/Autumn or Winter creations, but please tell us which season is your favourite one.
For the prize this week we have this Autumn E.F. Felicity
I have chosen Summer.

I do love Summer, the much longer days, hopefully some really lovely weather and the fact that all the seeds sown in the Spring will starting to produce either fruit, veg or flowers.
The only downside to Summer is the fact that holiday prices rise.

The stamp is Woodware - Big Bunch, which I have paper pieced as this paper has a lot of different colours, although maybe a tad more subtle than some of the bolder Summer colours.

I am going to Harrogate to the Stamperama Craft show today, I told my Hubby that I wasn't going to be spending much, going more for ideas, so he told me to leave my purse and Credit card at home!!
Yes, right?

Thanks for popping by and any comments you are kind enough to leave are greatly appreciated.

Such a pretty summer floral card Kath. Love the colours of the paper. . . Very subtle and dreamy.

Enjoy the show. Hope you come home brimming with ideas. Your husband is a wag isn't he? (Bet that's not what you said!) Xxx

A really pretty card Kath.
Bet the purse is empty by the time you get back and read this. If I hadn't been so tired after all the cleaning this week with the kitchen etc I might have travelled up the A59.... never mind, less spent today means more to spend next time!! x

Your card is gorgeous Kath and it must have taken ages with all of the cutting out, but definitely worth it. Its bright and beautiful and perfect for Summer. I hope you've had a fab day at Harrogate. You'll have to let me know what you bought. These Husband's of ours think they're funny don't they :) That's exactly the sort of thing mine would say. I'm feeling quite chuffed as I've managed to make three cards today for the next CI show in April, so that's got me off to a good start. Enjoy the rest of your weekend x

This is a gorgeous card Kath... I'm loving how you paper pieced the flowers giving them depth.. and the colours.... my favourites of course!

Now... did you enjoy the Harrogate show? We went in the morning and I've never seen such a disorganised place in all my life! From the car parking stewards who didn't know where to send people, to the having to wait in the cafe because the hall was full..... then trying to actually get NEAR the stalls when we actually got in.. well, the words ****-up and brewery come to mind!!! I spend a couple of £ then just wanted to get out because of the crush. I don't think I've seen a craft show that full in years... can only imagine it was because Hochanda were there. And I did feel sorry for the folks in wheelchairs.. it was such a crush.

OK moan over...

Hugs
