Allsorts challenge week 492 - Pretty Papers

Good Morning and another week has flown by and we have another challenge for you here at Allsorts.

We have this lovely prize for the winner.
Three paper pads and ribbon.

The theme for this week is .....
Pretty papers used as a background.

Well to be honest I have used these papers as the main image as well as the background,
They are part of an 8 x 8 sheet of paper by Craftwork Cards and while you may not agree but I just thought this sheet just stood out on it's own and did not want to be covered by any other image.
The sentiments are also from Craftwork Cards.
Added a wink of Stella to the flowers but naturally you won't see them on the photo.
To be honest I can not see it in the daylight but at night under a light it does look really good.

We will be having a small bonfire and fireworks Sunday night instead of Monday as Ethan will have homework and revision to do Monday night but these days fireworks seem to be going off a week before and a week after the original date.
For the first time ever, we had no Trick or Treat callers, couldn't believe it.

Thanks for popping by and any comments you are kind enough to leave,

That certainly is stunning paper and rightfully takes centre stage Kath.
We didn't get any trick or treaters this year either. Our town's bonfire night was 20th October!!!!!!

Happy Saturday!

It's a very striking card Cath and love the landscape design. We could hear fireworks in the distance last night, beauty of living in the middle of nowhere is you don't have them close and never get trick or treaters - on the downside if it snows it can be a day or two before we can leave home.

It is a beautiful paper Kath, and makes a fabulous card, your lovely clean design is perfect for it! Some papers are just too pretty to cover up and this one of them!
I used to dread this time of year, our previous dog was so frightened of the fireworks, such loud bangs, and they went on for so long... often used to sit under the table with her, both our heads covered with a blanket while she trembled in my arms,
Great Danes may be large but they are real softies! Fortunately Matilda isn't scared, just barks a lot but I can deal with that!
Enjoy your weekend

Oooh, think of all those chockies you have now that you had no trick or treaters, Kath! Yummo! I think your flower garden birthday card is gorgeous! I agree that it's a shame to cover up the pp that is a work of art all on its own! Easy-peasy and just as festive, with a surprise of winking when you look under the right light!! ❤Hugs, Darnell

Hi Kath .. .. a fabulous card and I agree with you .. .. it would be a shame to cover up that gorgeous paper!

I hope your fireworks were a success. They have been going off for a couple of weeks here now.

You look to be super busy on your blog! Shame I can't say the same.

Sorry for being a stranger but time is getting the better of me at the moment.

Hope all is good with you.

Love Jules xx

Such a pretty card Kath. Yes, I can see your wink of Stella.
It would have been a shame to use this paper any other way.
Bet your bonfire night was a lovely time especially as children are involved.
