Use an embossing folder

That is the challenge over at Back to Basics and Beyond.

For my card I have used the EF - Daisy Trail by Creative Expressions

I embossed it twice on white card, cut down the first one to fit a 6 x 6 card blank and then cut down the second one to create a square to place on the first.
I then coloured all the dots on both squares with ProMarkers. Placed sticky pads on the small square and then matched it onto the larger square.
Coloured an old Craftwork Cards sentiment and placed as shown.
Unfortunately the photo does not really give a good impression.
I think a new camera will be on my Christmas list this year.

Thanks for popping by and any comments you are kind enough to leave.

Kath x

WOW - you have waaaaay more patience than me for Promarkering all those dots. Great effect though and clever use of the smaller square too.

Mega hot down here. I'm off to try and keep cool.

Wow Kath, you have a very steady hand to colour all those dots so perfectly, must have taken ages but it's very effective! The added dimension from the raised panel looks great too. So annoying when the photo doesn't do the card justice, I struggle all the time but sadly I don't think I can blame my camera, I'm just a rubbish photographer! Always intended to do a photography course but never got around to it!

My goodness...you have infinite patience! This looks great but must have taken ages to colour all those wee dots.
Have fun with your new camera this Christmas!

I think that my poor photos are sadly not my cameras fault, but rather a poor operator. My main problem is in getting the cards photographed without distortion. I am so terrible with hat

Thanks for taking part in the July Rudolph Days Challenge.

I like this idea! It's very simple yet so elegant, and you did a splendid job aligning this design. Pretty EF and great color choices to make the embossing stand out so well. I'll echo Scrappymoi in admiration of your patience with coloring each tiny dot and no smudges! TFS
