Rudolph Day - June

Hi all, it is time for another Rudolph Day challenge over at ScrappyMo's.
One minute it is January and next minute it is June, so only five more to go.

For my card this month I have used the Penny Black - Santa's Hat stamp, while I have the die I have not used it on this occasion.
I cut the card shape, backing paper and image from a set of MFT - Dynamics and can't find the name of the set anywhere on the packet.
The backing papers are LOTV/Nitwits
The red stripe on the card was more of a pinkish shade so I just went over that with a red Promarker and a ruler.
A bit of glitter on the white of his hat.
Apparently the stamp is an old one but the die is new, well it was last year but I bought them both on sale this year.
Looking forward to seeing your entries.

Thanks for popping by and any comments you are kind enough to leave.

Kath x

He's a happy Santa Kath and makes a cheery card and you are right he's quite old, 2006 to be exact.

I need to go track down something to fit in this time round.

Lovely stamp, these PB cuties never date, great colouring and I like this shape. Good thinking to alter the colour on the DP, it matches perfectly now!
Was a bit of a shock to realise that it's Rudolph Day...again...already.

Hi Kath,
Happy Rudolf Days.
What a very lovely card and such an unusaul shape too.
Love that sweet stamped image it's so gorgeous.
The hat is bigger than the Hedgie LOL.
Love the saprkly fur trim to the hat.
Now I wonder what he has got in his stocking I'm sure it could be fruit of some kind.
Thank you for joining the Rudolf Challenge.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L. DT

This PB hedgehog always delights me in any design I see him. Of course your coloring is always perfect, and I love the fur treatment too. The S/B die shape looks wonderful with the repetition on the mats, and the kraft and red stripe with the white accents looks terrific too. Brilliant to think of changing the 'pink' to the deep red, and you have a steady hand with the ruler. My lines would have been so wonky. TFS & Have a super week. Hugs

What a great Penny Black image. It never seems to matter how old or how new the PB stamp is...it is always wonderful! This little guy is no exception!

I like the way you drew the line on the striped paper. That way you could bring your own shade of red into that background.

Thanks for taking part in the June Rudolph Days Challenge.

I have this cute PB Hedgie too and you have coloured him beautifully Kathleen, and I love your shaped background, and a great idea to colour the stripes with the red promarker to match the image. x
