Here are the stamps
Here is my card.
To be honest, my heart sank when I saw this challenge title and the song "I who have nothing' came into my head.
Our lovely Brenda at Allsorts sent me this stamped and heat embossed image.
Thank you Brenda.
It is a stamp - called as you may guess - Jack and Jill by Stampabilities (no longer around)
I have done it as a sort of CAS card, leaving white space around the image so it stands out as it is quite a small image.
I seem to remember that Nursery Rhymes were written by the Satirists of the day regarding something that had happened, at that time, usually by the Royal Family or events
of that era or something strange that had happened. I used to know what quite a few meant but the only one I can remember now is the meaning of Ring a ring o' roses, which was to do with the plague.
Have a good week everyone.
Thanks for popping by and thanks so much for any comments you are kind enough to leave.

Fabulous and lovely card Kath;-))m
Hi Kath, a cute image and a lovely card. Have a wonderful weekend... Megan
I think using the image in a CAS style really works and draws the eye to Jack and Jill and you immediately know the rhyme Kath.
Have a good weekend.

Lovely card but that song, I who have nothing, is that Tom Jones? Now it's in my bloomin head. Great card and theme.xx [aNNie]
❤️
The CAS style suits the image perfectly Kath a beautiful card
You've come up trumps Kath! It's a lovely stamp, looks like an illustration from a traditional book of nursery rhymes, and it's showcased perfectly by the CAS design.
Have a happy weekend

Your card turned out great Kath, love your coloring and it's perfect for the theme. Sorry I made it so challenging, I was actually worried about it too after I saw Brenda's card but didn't want to change the theme again LOL. After thinking about it A LOT I actually found the theme would work with several images.
Good old Brenda to the rescue. You've made a super card from the image. Very hard theme, don't think I would have anything to use either!!!! Xxx
I was also a bit stressed about this theme but you did a marvellous job!
A super card Kath, such a lovely traditional image and clean design.

How cool that Brenda had sent you an image all set to make into a card! I've known that "I who have nothing' feeling quite a few times, as I tend to be too narrow minded in my stamp selection. This was fun to read your post, (I remember the meaning of Ring around the Rosey" too, and haven't liked the little jingle since then. It's a great card, and I'm glad Brenda came to the rescue! TFS & Happy wkend. Hugs
Just a darling image and card design Kathleen.
Hugs Diane
Hi Kath
Your card is fabulous... I love the little scene and your colouring. I think I would also have struggled with that theme... not an easy one!
I didn't know you were around when fairy tales were written by the satirists... my goodness, you look well for your age!! hehe

Super card Kath, lovely image and great cas design.
If memory serves me right I think Jack + Jill was to do with the french revolution and beheading of Louis xvi + Marie Antoinette. I used to teach all the rhymes I could think of to my kids when they were little to try and teach them a bit of history xx
Great take on the theme Kath, fabulous creation.
Happy crafting
