Allsorts challenge week 438 - Halloween/Spooky

Welcome to another challenge here at Allsorts and this week theme has been chosen by our lovely Susan who has chosen

Halloween/Spooky

Our Sponsor this week is Little Claire
The lucky winner will receive both of these stamps.

Here is my card

Well, I don't do Halloween, so I bought a Bugaboo image, coloured the background and the moon and made some little pumpkins from card candy.
It is Halloween as it says so on the image but spooky, I think not, even the 'pumpkins' seem to have a smile on their face!

Wonder where Mischief night and Penny for the Guy have disappeared to? They were more prominent in mine and my Daughters youth rather than Halloween.
Thanks for popping by and if you are kind enough to leave me a comment I promise not to come round and haunt you!

Kath x

I think it's a great image Kath...and that cat does have creepy eyes! Brilliant idea to turn the card candy into pumpkins...great colour choice too.
I remember Penny for the Guy...dragging a newspaper stuffed guy around in my little brother's pram...My Mum wasn't over-impressed...

Wow.. love this one Kath... what a fabulous image and you've coloured the moon and the background so well... I also love the pumpkins you made... what a clever idea that I'd have never thought of.

I remember Penny for the Guy, but our Halloween was more 'duck-apple night' where we had apple bobbing, and apples on a string to bite while we were blind-folded...

Hope you had a lovely hols..

Oh Rats . . . I think I'd like to be haunted by you - but I'm leaving you a comment anyway.

I think this Halloween card is top notch. Great colours and a lovely layout.

Can well remember the guy's being made and then trundled round the streets in a wheel Barrow or old pram. Such simple things we did to so use ourselves. I do believe I have this bugaboo digi stashed away somewhere too. Hugs and spooks Mrs A.

Well done for someone who does not 'do' Halloween. My style of spooky card...cute, rather than gruesome! (I love the tiny punkin smiles in the border) The black cat and moon are perfect Halloween motifs! TFS & Hugs
