Allsorts Challenge week 430 - Ribbon

Ribbon but more than just a bow is the challenge this week at Allsorts chosen by the lovely Wendy.

We have Fantastic Ribbons for our sponsor this week
The prize on offer.

Here is my card.
Please do pop over to the challenge blog and see the fabulous use of ribbons that my team mates have done.

6x6 Craftwork Cards cardstock
Orange backing card and spotty papers from my Craft room.
Divided the papers with some SU orange ribbon and then used up some of the small Penny Black stickeroo's that were left on various sheets.
I am very pleased to report that my 7 year old, Great Niece loved it,
she said it included all of her favourite things.
Hit the jackpot there.

Don't know what planet I have been on this week, totally didn't realise that it was Rudolph Day yesterday. Now I normally reserve my reading for holidays, but Wednesday I had an hair appointment  so I aways take my Kindle, as I hate magazines but once I start reading I can't stop so I totally missed Thursday this week so loads of apologies for any lack of comments.

My Mother used to say "Once our Kath gets her head in book, that's it, we won't hear from her till she has finished it"

Thank for popping by and your comments are very much appreciated.
Have a good week.

Kath x

A lovely bright and beautiful card for a child Kath. Love those cute PB stickeroos and that's a great way to use ribbon.
I'm with you over the reading...once you pick up a book it's so hard to put it down...life goes on around me and I'm totally oblivious to it...! Hope it was a good book!
Enjoy the weekend

Hi Kath,
what a very wonderful card, and your design is fantastic.
I must commend your on your wonderful straight lines with that ribbon.
No way could I have done that.
Glad your niece loved it cos what's not to love.
I used read avidly as a child, but now I rarely read as my eyes don't see straight lines, and the lines merge into one.
Old age and eye probs are such a pain, but it never seems to trouble me with my card making only as I say if there are too many lines to match up.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Wow Kath... what a clever way to use ribbon 'other than a bow'! I would never have thought of that, and it looks really good! Your card is fabulous - no wonder your great niece loved it.

Know what you mean about a book - though for some reason I always feel guilty if I get stuck into one in the day - I generally only read before bed.

And re your comment on my blog.. macaroons/macarons........ tomatoes/tomAHtoes... hehe!! I just copied what was on the packet - but I do see Betty's have oo in the ones they sell!
