Snippets Playground weeks 287/288

Didn't manage to get into the Playground for the last two weeks challenge.

It is coming to time of year again for Grandson's teachers 'Thank you' cards
Ethan only wanted two for his Form teachers, but Austin seemed to go overboard this year and one of them was for a Male teacher, freak out at that point.

Now you can not tell from the photo but the Rich Razzelberry card stock has a pattern on it and I had only a small amount of this left but have quite a few sheet of the plain card.
The lime green card is from some old Craftwork Cards card stock.
The flowers are a Crealies die and stamp set.
Craftwork Cards - card candy
Computer generated sentiment.
I thought the the two colours went really well together, well they do IRL. In fact to be honest I loved the colour combination and so did my Daughter.

The centres of the flowers were from other left over snippet of the lime card, and by the end of making the rest of the cards I had a real job of getting all the flowers from the bits and pieces that were left as I did not want to use the plain card.

Each flower has been cut twice and a very thin Woodware sticky pad to raise the top flower from the bottom one, although it doesn't really show here.
The leaves were also die cut from bits and bats of the green card.
I have to admit that I really struggled to get the flowers for all the cards

Here are the other cards.

This is the male one.
A digi image printed a couple of times .
No snippets were used on this card.

Thank goodness that is over for another year.
Thanks for popping by and any comments you are kind enough to leave.

Loving the purple and green combo too Kath - and gotta say your grandson's teachers are really lucky to get your fabulous cards!! But ......you had to make a card for a......... MAN??? That's just how I feel when it comes to making a masculine card... but you rocked it!! Though how apt it is for a pupil to be pushing the beer drinking? LOL!!! Love that you have bits and bats in your craft room - I have bits and bobs in mine!! LOL!

Hi Kath,
what beautiful and wonderful cards for your Grandson's teachers.
Love the colours, flowers, and the design on the ladies ones.
Such a great idea to personalise them.
The male one a fantastic also, and I'm sure they are going to love them.
My Granddaughter came over on Saturday to make hers for her teachers, but the time was so short we forgot to phtograph them.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
