Snippets Playground weeks 273 and 274

First of all a HUGE THANK YOU to Di for showcasing my card last Sunday for the previous two week challenge.

The stamp is Woodware Marguerita Patch
Stamped with Rose Red Memento dew drop ink pad.
The papers are the reverse side of Kaisercraft Party Time Collection 12 x 12 papers.
I actually bought 3 sheets of this papers as I really loved the colours on the reverse side, pinks and peaches. I have one full sheet left though.

This card was made from the from about a quarter of the sheet that was left from the second
sheet for the background and a little bit that was left from the first sheet to paper piece the flower.
Cards not blogged yet using the other pieces of the papers.
A little bit of Stickles Thistle glitter glue (love this colour) in the centre of the flower.

No sentiment on, as yet, because I have loads of cards with Happy Birthday on so I decided to start leaving a sentiment off some cards so they could be used for any occasion.

Today, Wednesday the 12th was my 48th Wedding Anniversary, went out for a super Lunch, can tell we are getting old as one time it would have been an Evening meal.

Enjoy the rest of the week.

First: Belated Happy Anniversary wishes. A great milestone, and lunches are usually more fun (and less crowded!) than elegant dinners. Sometimes it's nicer to be 'casual' rather than dress up at the end of a long day. Love your beautiful card. Those papers are fab with this gorgeous stitched flower, and Di has a splendid eye at selecting pretty cards to highlight. Congrats on that as well! TFS & Hugs

Another stunning floral creation Kath... I love that gorgeous pink paper too.. Isn't it awful having to actually cut into something we love - and even worse when we get to using the last of it!

Belated anniversary wishes too... I'm in the 'old' bracket too... haven't been out for an evening meal for years!

Brilliant card Kath - being pinky adds that extra bit for me of course! You sure do have some wonderful Woodware stamps and always use them so well.

Belated Anniversary wishes as well - gosh, were you a child bride? :) And lunchtime meals out are the way for us here now as well. Can't beat our local carvery, so long as you avoid Sundays of course!

Hugs

Di xx

This is such a pretty card, KAth.Loving the reverse side of that DP. I think I have some pink and orange paper quite similar. Will have to have a peek for it.

Your stamped image is perfect for this paper. So pretty!
