Allsorts challenge - week 396 - Something New

Not something Old, Borrowed or  Blue but something New

That is the choice of the lovely Mervi who is hosting this weeks challenge at Allsorts.
Maybe it is some lovely goodies you have received for Christmas or something that you have not used before, or even a new Baby, Home, quite a few options available for you.

Our sponsor this week is Tattered Lace with this lovely die.

Here is my card.

The gorgeous Robin image is from a set of three from Hobby Art.
Round Robins - new for Christmas
The die is from Memory Box, bought just before Christmas at 50% off, and not used before, and now I can not find it anywhere??
The die has been cut in Platinum glitter card, which is really NBUS.
The sentiment is a peel off, coloured red, which certainly does not look like it.

Sorry it is a Christmas card but all my new stuff has been Christmas related.
It was really very difficult to photo, tried numerous times and either the Robin suffered or the glitter card suffered.
Hope you have all had a lovely Christmas and wish you
A Happy and Healthy 2017.

My New Year's resolution is that I am NOT buying anything at all for crafting that is Christmas related, so don't anyone tempt me.

Kath x

That die is scrumptious. Hope you find what you have done with it. The Doc is searching for his hard hat at the moment. Not that he needs it just needs to know where it is.
Wishing you a Happy, Healthy and Crafty New Year. Hugs Mrs A.

Got side tracked with The Doc banging on about his missing hard hat I forgot to ask you what you coloured your peel off sentiment with? Hugs Mrs A.

Lovely card Kath, too tempting to buy crafty stuff when there is so much available - long way for me to get to a craft shop now though and harrogate craft fair far too far away x Susan x

This cheeky robin is just so darling in his expression and I love the dazzling sparkle frame that is surrounding him. Terrific card to start the new year. I hope your Christmas was wonderfully special, and that you are off to a grand start for a New Year. Looking forward to seeing lots of awesome projects for you this coming year. Hugs & TFS (and I'm glad you have a DD at home, but I also know that doesn't mean you miss the distant one any the less! )

Haha, I won't tempt you, but it is a pain isn't it, to get all inspired in December to buy Christmas-themed NBUS (or during January sales) and by then it's too late to use it for this Christmas and some people are over Christmas quickly so it gets put away for months and months and sometimes, completely forgotten!! So good for you for going ahead and making your sweet robin card now! It's a delight and you got a perfect photo wherein no suffering was done to either robin nor card!! Happy New Year, Kath!! Love and hugs, Darnell

<e again...just stopped by to say that mirri paper and glitter paper you mentioned is a fab price. We pay $3.29 for 12x12 glitter paper here and I think mirri is about the same!
