Allsorts challenge week 388 - Time

Well another week has passed and we are now onto week 388.
The lovely Wendy has chosen the challenge for you this week and it is ....

Time - feature a clock or numbers on your creation

Our sponsor this week is the Hobby House
I must add that the background paper on my Rudolph card on last weeks challenge was from the Hobby House, I totally forgot to mention it, sorry.

Panic here, nothing at all with a clock, did a card with numbers and hated it and then along came a crafting friend call Anne and rescued me with a couple of images from Craftwork Cards and I chose this one because the hands look to be pointing to 5 o'clock (yes they do) and as my Grandson's birthday is the 5th of the 12th, I thought it quite appropriate.

I made an error with the number 8, should not have done it in red but is doesn't look as bad IRL.

If you have the time, (get it) then we would love to see your entry in our challenge this week and please do check out the lovely makes from the rest of the Team.

Had a really lovely time last week as we went with our Daughter, Hubby and Grandson's to Loch Lomond for the half-term holiday, I really didn't want to go as I thought it would be too cold, but it was great. Stayed in a fabulous 4 bedroom house, did a bit of colouring and played loads of games in the evening. Went to Fort William to go up Ben Nevis but it poured down that day and was a tad wild  so we didn't bother. Had a free speedboat ride from the top of the Lock, where we were, to the bottom and back. Really nice to have had some real time with the Grandsons as they are getting older and have other commitments we do not have the time together that we used to have.

 Have a great week.

What a FAbulous idea Kath to have both the clock with numbers as well as Austins age.
Sound like you had fun. Don't seem our grandchildren as much as I'd like, but, was brought up with the saying, If you don't see them? Then everything must be going alright..

We went on quite a few narrow boats when the kids were small. Our first holiday on our own was a boat from Inverness to Fort
William. I still can remember the bad weather we had lol..Didn't know your friend, but, must admit I to get very weepy eyed when a band appears! Grandsons coming home next weekend so I will have tissues at the ready xx

Great take on the challenge Kath, Fab design too! I'm going to be pinching this idea as I have a brother who is obsessed by collecting alarm clocks ...I told him he was a saddo and he got his revenge by winding them all up, setting the alarms, and leaving them in random places all over the house one time when I was looking after Mum! He thought it was hilarious. I did not. (Mum is deaf without her hearing aid and just slept through the noise!!!)
Glad you enjoyed a lovely break...it's great to spend some quality time with the Grandchildren.
xx

Clever card to celebrate the special Grand's birthday. Hope you were able to enjoy the holiday bonfire (and no snow flurries). I think this is just a real clever way to set your clock for the challenge theme. Glad you had a good time with your family and some nice weather to enjoy as well. TFS & Hugs

Your time with the family sounds like it was wonderful, Kath! I'm in the same boat (haha) with my grandsons as they are getting older and have so many other commitments now, so our time with them is especially cherished. Your card for Austin is so fun and clever! Well done working it out! Enjoy your day!! Hugs, Darnell
