Snippets Playground week 225

Hello, how are you?  thought I had better use a different stamp for my entry this week, I made a batch of these when  I first received this stamp, all different colours and it is called Poppy Bloom, from Hobby Art Ltd, I bought it in a set of two, the other one I have blogged previously called Poppy Field but I am certain I have not blogged this image before but I could be wrong.
Absolutely love both stamps.

I have kept it simple because I did not want to distract from the wonderful image.
My snippet is the white card the image was stamped on and while the red card stock backing the papers was from a 12 x12 sheet the backing on the image and sentiment was from bits and bats.

Sentiment Craftwork Cards

The flourish, which I believe is a Tattered Lace Die but I can not find the packaging anywhere.

Things disappear you know, Mr Nobody comes in during the night and next day I can not find a thing.!!!???

Also in the middle of making a batch of 8 of these, well not quite like these, for Grandson's teacher's Thank You cards, for the end of the year, good job they are all female. Yes I know there are a couple of terms to go yet but I'd rather be prepared than a last minute Lucy.

Lovely day yesterday, hope this is the start of something big  as I am sick of puddle jumping in the playground and it is time we got some use out of those sun beds that took all our spending money a couple of years ago and saying that I do think that Parsnip is over pricing his ice-creams.

Take care everyone.

What a vivid shade of gorgeous red on these flowers. I love that you let the image shine out, and the white & red mat enhance the flowers so nicely. Also loving the soft green background and the pretty swirl. This design will make a special card for the teachers as well. I have Mr. Nobody who is always right at my shoulder. He doesn't wait for overnight. He can strike immediately if I put something down for a second! TFS & hugs

Wonderful car Kath - beautifully coloured and glossed plus so right to keep the rest of the card CAS.

I'll speak to Parsnip about the ice cream prices - caught him rummaging around looking for my ice cream maker at the back of a cupboard earlier to 'cut out the middle man' he muttered whilst hurling goodness know what out of the cupboard in his search. I think he's turning into Fagin!

Lovely to see you in the Playground.

Hugs

Hi Kath

I simply adore that poppy image and love how you've coloured it. Great jaunty angle too!

The die is by Sue Wilson "Beaded Swirl Flourish".

See you in the Tree House later . . . sounds like you'll need some Hooch!

Hugs, Sarn xxx

This is such a pretty snippets and NBUS card, Kath! I love poppies, too, and have (cough) different images of them - in fact, I may even have a NBUS one in there myself, now that I think about it. Slap! Enjoyed your post! Is there a wager going regarding the ice cream prices? You know I'm more interested in the hooch than the ice cream, but I don't mind a friendly wager ... Enjoy your day! Hugs, Darnell

Oooooo a poppy stamp I haven't got. That won't do at all. Love the colour and the high gloss. Have you been using the furniture polish again!! Love your card. Hugs Mrs A.

Gorgeous splash of red here makes this card fabulous Kath... and I love that you've given it a dose of glossy accents! Now it isn't Mr Nobody that comes into my craft room - it's Icky the Firebobby - that's what my Mum used to call the invisible person that moved things around! LOL And I've no idea what you're talking about with Parsnip and his ice creams!

Big hugs
