Rudolph Day - May 2019

A little late this month as I usually try to enter on the 25th but only got back from holiday at tea time that day and I totally forgot which image I was going to use for May.
So the RD challenge over at ScrappyMo's will run until the 31st of May, still plenty of time left.

This cheery little fellow is a stamp by Hobby Art Ltd.
I can not tell you the name of the stamp because I do not actually own it.
A lady that comes to our monthly craft meeting was using it and I admired it so she gave me the stamp, ink pad and paper to stamp some of the image.
I have made five cards, snowflake E.F.
Computer generated sentiment as I wanted it to be down instead of across.
Coloured with ProMarkers.
Glitter on his hat and a tad on the falling snow.
Do pop over to the challenge post to see the lovely samples by the DT and the other entries.

Thanks for popping by and any comments you are kind enough to leave.

Penny Black and More - Mid month reminder

Good Morning - I am here with my card for the mid month reminder for our May challenge over at Penny Black and More.
`the challenge is .. All things Feminine- with the option of Anything goes.

I have used Penny Black 40.674 - Bouquet Ballet for my card.

I stamped the image on a piece of 12 x12 paper cut to size and then I paper pieced the the some of the flower with the same paper but coloured the flower image, with the small flowers with Promarkers and backed the image on white card.
I then used the same papers for the background.
The lace was white but I coloured it with a pink Promarker.
The DP's are from a 12x12 paper pad from the Works which were cheap as chips but some lovely papers.
A gem in each corner

Thank you all for popping by and any comments you are kind enough to leave.

Allsorts challenge week 519 - Transport

Transport is the theme for the challenge over at Allsorts and has been chosen by the lovely Wendy
Transport
Our sponsor this week is Clever Cuts
Which is owned by Ali Reeves
Here is the prize

Before I go on to showing my card another gentle reminder that next week will be
Allsorts 10th Birthday
We have some fabulous prizes on offer.

This is my take on the theme.

The image is a Penny Black stickeroo and funny enough it is called ....
Girl on a bike!
As it was a circular image I made a circle card.

Papers are from Bloom and Grow collection, very old but I loved them and I can not even remember the makers, for some reason Bo-Bunny seems to come to mind, but knowing me I will be wrong.

I had actually run out of the numerous sets of these papers I had but a fabulous blogging buddy sent me a 6 x 6 full set of them and I have been very sparse in using them because I wanted to save them but the colours really did fit this lovely image.

My next few posts will be scheduled and I do apologise that I will not be able to comment on your posts for 10 days, but I thank you in advance for any comment you are kind enough to leave me, while I am away.
I was all so very sad to hear of the death of Freddie Star, I had really mixed feelings about him, but he did really make me laugh at times. All the best comedians seem to be leaving this mortal toil.

Thanks so much for popping by today and any comments you are kind enough to leave are very much appreciated.

Good Morning - our lovely Tracy has chosen the theme for this week and it is ..

Pretty In Pink

But before I show you my card we have a special two week challenge coming up on the 18th of May.

Here is my card for this weeks challenge.
Using Penny Black 384K - Ginger - 2008

I have to admit that the colours are a mixture of pink and peachy pink
The flower card is from the Hobby House and the subtle pink paper is from a pad from the Works.
I have paper pieced her dress from some old Craftwork Cards papers.
The flowers (which were white and I have coloured with Promarkers) are also from the Hobby House.
Backing card brown.

Well all good things must come to an end and my daughter flew back to Oz on Wednesday, sad but a good time was had by all, looking forward to the next visit which could be a couple of years away.

I will be back tomorrow with a few more posts, most unusual for me.
