Allsorts challenge 513 - Use Yellow somewhere

This is the first challenge that Lynn has hosted since she joined our team last year and she has chosen the lovely theme of ....

Use YELLOW somewhere.
This is the prize for this weeks lucky winner.

I have used a Penny Black stamp from the Perfect Pairing collection.
Embossed with white embossing powder onto a yellow card background.
The papers are Lawn Fawn
Border die who's packet seems to have gone a.w.o.l. but I have placed the cut outs inside the die.
The yellow ribbon has white dots on it but does not show on the photo.
I coloured the image with a white Sharpie pen.
Computer generated sentiment and SU dies.
We had a glorious day yesterday up to 16 degrees.

For those of you in the UK, please don't forget to alter your clocks tonight.

Thanks so much for popping by and any comments you are kind enough to leave.

March Rudolph Day

Well it is Rudolph Day once again over at ScrappyMo's, you have until the 31st of March to enter.

The stamp is Woodware - Snowmen Family.
The backing paper is a very pale blue with snowflakes and I stamped directly onto the paper, so that they have snowflakes on their bodies.
Just a tad of glitter under the snow line.
I made three of these. in this style.
Oops - just spotted that I forgot to colour the hearts, too late now.

Thanks for popping by and any comments you are kind enough to leave.

Allsorts Challenge week 512 - Feathered Friends

Ellie has chosen our theme over at Allsorts this week and she would like to see some..

Feathered Friends featured on your creations.

The prize for this week is this lovely stamp set from Indigo Blue.

I have a few stamps that have birds on them but have used them quite often for Allsorts challenge and then I remember I had this image.

It is a Penny Black stickeroo.

I have to say that I could not believe what a great match that these papers that I have had for quite a while made to the background on the image and as there was yellow on the image too I used yellow card for the backing and the corner dies. I have left the card without a sentiment, which can be placed on either the top left or bottom right or both depending upon the sentiment.

Thank you for popping by and any comments you are kind enough to leave.
Have a great week.

Allsorts week 511 - Use your favourite stamp/Image

Good Morning it is my turn to choose the theme for this weeks challenge and I have chosen,
Use your favourite STAMP/ IMAGE OR DIE.
Pretty much anything goes but you do have to say what is your favourite image.

This is the prize for this week

Here is my card.

Using Penny Black - Whispers(2006) and Gossamer (2008)
13 and 11 years old and still stamping perfectly.

Now these are wood mounted stamps and because they are (and still are) my all time favourite stamps I could not choose between them so I decided that I would use them both on the one card.

I have to admit that there was much wailing and gnashing of teeth while trying to get a decent
row of them together, my paper re-cycling bag really filled up that day.

They are paper pieced with LOTV papers and the dotty background papers are also LOTV.
Sentiment - Craftwork Cards and I could not believe my luck that I had one in exactly the right colour.

Also because the paper that I used for the images was from snippets I will be entering this card in the Playground, when it re-opens tomorrow.

Thanks so much for popping by and any comments you are kind enough to leave.
Have a lovely week.

Stamping Sensations - Colours of the Rainbow

As the title of my post says the challenge for this month over at Stamping Sensations is...

Colours of the Rainbow.

I have used my favourite stamp from last year.
Penny Black- Awaken
I created a background using the colours of the rainbow, (no green as the green is on the stems of the flower) stamped the image on white card and again on the rainbow card.
Because the red on the image is smaller than the other colours I used red card to back the image and the embossed white card.
Cut out the die in white card and then used the same inks to colour it.
Can not tell you the name of the die as I am ashamed to say I have lost the packet.

Thank you for popping by and any comments you are kind enough to leave.

Allsorts challenge 510 - Card for a child

The theme this week has been chosen by Wendy and she would like you to make a
Card for a Child.

These are the lovely prizes on offer for one lucky winner

Here is my card.

Once again I have used an old LOTV image and some papers from am old 6 x 6 pad.
The name and sentiment die cut from white glitter card (sorry it does not show up too well on the photo)
The age is from some old stickeroos and the candles are very old too.
So far not doing too bad on using up some old stock.

Getting rather excited as this time next month my Daughter from Oz will be here for a couple of weeks.

Thanks for popping by and any comments you are kind enough to leave.

Penny Black & More challenge - Going Round In Circle

Back so soon, but it is my turn from the Allsorts team to be guest designer at
Penny Black and More challenge.

The theme for this month is Going Round in Circles.
You can either make a circle card or you must have a circle on your card.

For my card I have used the PB stamp Felicity - 40-517.
Papers are LOTV/Nitwits.
The stamp is larger than shown but I have used just part of it.

As always Penny Black and More have some lovely prizes for the lucky winners.
Please do pop over to the challenge blog and see the lovely creations from the DT.

Thanks so much for popping by and any comments you are kind enough to leave.

Allsorts challenge 509 - Four Seasons - choose your favourite

This weeks theme has been chosen by Tracy and the theme is

Four Seasons - Choose your favourite

Spring/Summer/Autumn or Winter creations, but please tell us which season is your favourite one.
For the prize this week we have this Autumn E.F. Felicity
I have chosen Summer.

I do love Summer, the much longer days, hopefully some really lovely weather and the fact that all the seeds sown in the Spring will starting to produce either fruit, veg or flowers.
The only downside to Summer is the fact that holiday prices rise.

The stamp is Woodware - Big Bunch, which I have paper pieced as this paper has a lot of different colours, although maybe a tad more subtle than some of the bolder Summer colours.

I am going to Harrogate to the Stamperama Craft show today, I told my Hubby that I wasn't going to be spending much, going more for ideas, so he told me to leave my purse and Credit card at home!!
Yes, right?

Thanks for popping by and any comments you are kind enough to leave are greatly appreciated.
