February Rudolph Day Challenge

Good Morning, well this is the start of the 2019 Rudolph Day challenges.

Little delayed due to MO's knee operation (which in the end didn't happen, so she  made us all jealous by going on a cruise.)

It is James the Bear - Snow Angel from LOTV.

A bit of glitter here and there and job done.

I have only made one of these cards as I over did it last year and have lots of cards left, yippee.

Well what a gorgeous week we had last week here in West Yorkshire, so sunny and warm for February, hope we don't pay for it later.

I decided to make a circle card for this Penny Black image - Spring Beauty as it seemed to fit the circle cards that I have better than a square card and I felt that the image spoke for itself rather than over-shadowed by any DP.

This week I have actually got back into making cards as I haven't made any since Christmas, played a bit, but not actually produced a card. 

We have also been really spoilt this week as we have had a few really warm days for the time of year but not rushed out to start planting seeds.

I have gone for the cooking theme

The image is from many years ago and I am not sure if it is LOTV
or Hobby House, I have fussy cut the image.
The background is from some old papers.
Cloud and grass dies are MFT.
Butterfly, flower and ladybird are from Penny Black stickeroos.

Still managing to use old stock.

For my card this week I have used an old Hobby House image

The papers is also old - Bo-Bunny - Winter Joy Stripe,

and the snowflakes are made using an old snowflake punch.

Added glitter to the snowballs and below the sledge.

Still getting through some of my old images - yippee.

Allsorts Challenge week 505 - Love

Good Morning - it is challenge 505 at Allsorts and the Theme is Love.

This has been chosen by our lovely team member Helene.

We have this super Indigo Blue stamp for the lucky winner.

Here is my card.

Yes, another LOTV pre-coloured image. I did warn that I would be using up old items this year.

Papers - Craftwork Cards from the 6x6 paper pad 'Hearts and Flowers"

and to be honest I thought I would never use this sheet. What a perfect match for the image.

 So never say never, lesson learned.

Ribbon and Pearls from way back when.

I was tempted to touch up the colours but decided to leave well alone as would probably make a mess and I do like the subtle colours.
