Paper Piecing - Sweet Stamping

Third post this week, not at all like me but the challenge over at ..
Sweet Stamping is Paper Piecing, how could I miss that?

The stamp is Penny Black - Slapstick/Cling - Awaken
One of my current favourites
The papers are Lawn Fawn - Perfectly Plaid - Spring
I have paper pieced the flowers with a background I made from Distressed Oxides.

The die across the centre is not long enough to go across the 6 x 6 card and I usually cut it in the middle to go at each side of the image but on this occasion I had to cut it to place the image at one side as it was cut from a snippet of the D.O. background and missed some at the top of the left hand side, so you can guess what is coming next, yep, I am also entering this card into the Snippets Playground the backing card of the image and sentiment is also a snippet.

Thank you for popping by and any comments you are kind enough to leave.
I now have to publish and then comment on my own post so I can tick the box that will send any comments to me by mail!!!????

Fabulous Kath - and a great way you saved the die cut across the centre - who would have known?! Interesting change to Blogger re. comments - I just look at mine in the dashboard or on the post itself then I know where I am (being a Dizzy Lizzy!). Already swamped with emails as it is too, sigh.

So lovely to see you joining in with us - good luck!

Hugs

Di xx

This is fabulous Kath... love how you paper pieced the flowers with your self-created paper! And such a clever trick when a diecut doesn't fit... I've done that more than once myself!

Fab card. Your paper piecing is wonderful, I actually thought you’d coloured the flower in!
