Allsorts week 465 - All About Pets

It is the turn of our lovely Brenda to host this week challenge and she has chosen the theme of
All about Pets
As it is National Pet awareness week and also R.S.P.C.A. week and World Veterinary Day.

Here are this weeks prizes.
First up is this Woodware stamp
and three smaller stamps as the second prize.

Here is my card

The image is from Hobby House which I fussy cut, really nervous trying this but quite pleased with the result.
I chose goldfish as it was the only pet my Daughters were allowed to have and the same with the Grandsons, except the Grandsons fish had to be kept at our house. Unfortunately they are now swimming in the great big Ocean in the sky.
It reminds me of Ethans face coming out of the shop carrying the goldfish.
I think we got it from PetsRus, something like that any way. Talk about third degree questioning it was unbelievable.

Thank you all for popping by and any comments you are kind enough to leave, have a great week.
Don't know about you but we have snow forecast for next week, can you Adam and Eve it.

Kath x

Great card Kath, I bet your grandsons looked as excited as this little guy when they got their fish, the layout shows the fussy cut image to perfection

Fabulous card Kath, the expression of delight on that little lad's face says it all! Great fussy cutting, nothing to be nervous about there. My granddaughters are currently blackmailing their parents into letting them have a hamster...might have been better to try for a goldfish first!
Thank you for your kind messages

You have a very steady hand . Your fussy cutting is perfect. My son said no pets allowed, then two gold fish in a tank turned up . They have two rabbits in the back garden now. Not sure how the ban works!! Hugs Mrs A.

Hi Kath,
what a brilliant card and I love that wonderful image and you have coloured it perfectly.
Mu Granddaughter is 10 and she had money for her Birthday and bought a fish tank and some fish with it.
Would really love to see this image as a girl also.
Forgot to say I love the expression on his face.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Bright happy colors, and the expression on this young kid's face reflects his joy at this goldfish. Great coloring too by the way, along with the fussy cutting. I like the way you've popped up this image outside the tiny flower border. The combination of the paper patterns looks so nice together. That is something I struggle to make look good. Also the water in the fish home looks quite transparent, so good job on that too! (we did the gold fish which didn't last too long at our house, hamsters, turtles and parakeets. Finally had a gerbil that survived a little while, then a puppy). TFS & Hugs (brr on the snow.)

I still remember all the fish the grandkids had. They named them and talked to them each day...and they too now live in that big ocean in the sky.

This is such a cute card.
