Allsorts challenge week 452 - Old Favourites.

This week over at Allsorts it is the turn of our lovely Tracy to choose the theme and she has chosen...

Old Favourites.

Our sponsor is Fantastic Ribbons.

My old favourites are....

Papers from the Bloom and Grow collection, thanks Sarn
An old Penny Black favourite Cheerful.
Craftwork Cards sentiments.

You can not tell from the Photo but I have stamped the flower head twice and raised it with sticky pads.

It was my Birthday last week and Hubby took me out.... to a funeral. He does spoil me.
Hope you all have a great week and thanks for popping by and any comment you are kind enough to leave.

Kath x

A lovely card Kath and just perfect for the start of spring, I’m loving all the flowers. Happy belated birthday to you for last week, and I’m sorry to read that you spent it at a funeral. It was my birthday this week and I had a trip to the cinema, which I don’t to very often, so that was a treat for me. Take care of yourself. Crafty hugs, Sandra x

OOH . . . another lovely floral card from you Kath. Great papers(!) - and a bit of dimension too! FAB.

You know how to party don't you? Actually . . . second thoughts, I'm not sure you do . . . a funeral is NOT the place to be on your birthday! I'm gonna have to have words with your husband!

Big hugs,

Oh Kath! You do make me laugh...what a birthday treat!!! Hope you had a good birthday despite the spoiling from hubby!
Fab card, love the flower stamp and good to see those gorgeous papers again, I still have them myself. Should use them up instead of buying more....but I won't!
Have a lovely weekend.

A beautiful card Kath, love the paper piecing and the design paper you used is gorgeous. I think I used to have a couple sheets of it as well, but pretty sure it's all used up.

Not sure about the funeral bit though. LOL.
Love this wonderful card as it's soooooooo! pretty.
The papers are so gorgeous and very beautiful.
Such a super stamped flower also.
A very summery card to cheer us all up in this drab weather we are having.

Great paper choice and design Kath.. and yes, I can just about see the petals are 3D - a fabbie way to give depth.

And I did chuckle at your birthday story.. hope your hubby made up for it since!! Otherwise we'll have to plan something for his birthday.. hmm now let's see... I'm sure we can come up with something worse!

Belated Birthday Wishes..

The image looks wonderful as you've done it, but as well as this sweet floral, I love the background paper and the design layout you've used. It just makes me think "spring". How considerate of your DH to spoil you as he did! That made me laugh. I hope you at least got a nice meal afterwards!!! TFS & Hugs

Lovely card Kath - not quite a cheerful birthday, sounds like my BIL who is no longer with us - he took my SIL out for a meal.....fish & chips in a layby, he had a wicked sense of humour. x Susan x

LOL!!! Kath .. .. .. couldn't Hubby think of anywhere a little more exciting for you?

Hope you had a lovely birthday anyway - belated birthday wishes to you.

Blinking computer went orange just as I pushed the publish button. Forgotten what I was saying now. Oh yes funerals. Well your safe in the knowledge that no one else will have ever had a funeral trip as their birthday treat. You'll have to think up something really devious when its his Birthday. I recognise some of those papers in my stash too. Happy belated Birthday wishes. Hugs Mrs A.
