Allsorts challenge week 442 - Glitter

It is my turn, once again to host the challenge over at Allsorts and this week I have chosen the theme of Glitter.

This can be glitter card/paper - glitter glue - powdered glitter or glitter pens
Not gems or pearls, as the glitter item

Our sponsor this week is Baker Ross and they have this lovely prize for one lucky winner.

We also have this Tattered Lace Die as a second prize

Here is my card.

The stamp is Woodware - Flower Stems
Stamped with Memento - Tuxedo Black
Coloured with glitter powders and a Quickie Glue pen
Most of the glitter is Art Institute
The very plain green is a Pearl glitter.
The backing card and borders are glitter card.
Paper - Kanban
Computer generated sentiment.
I did have a terrible time taking a photo, then I had a 'lightbulb' moment...
I took the photo in the dark, I think I had the flash on and it worked pretty well to show all the glitter.

Have a good week and thanks for popping by.

Once again I have used the lovely Tailored Expressions stamp, Blooming Background.
So versatile, especially for colour challenges sorry if you are getting fed up of seeing it.

I have stamped it on a background made with Distressed Inks and then coloured the images with a variety of Copics and Promarkers.

Penny Black and More - Flower Power

Good Morning, very rare for me to post two days in a row but it is my turn from the Allsorts DT to be guest designer over at the Penny Black and More challenge.
The challenge for this month is ....

Flower Power

I have used Penny Black slapstick/cling 40328 - Scented Beauty
I love it.
Coloured with ProMarkers
Papers Nitwits.
Border die Poppystamps - Woodland Border
Computer generated sentiment with SU dies.
I also used the same ProMarker that I coloured the image with to colour the backing card and the border die so they would match the flowers.
It does not show here but I stamped and coloured the image twice and then paper pieced the flowers.

Thank you, happy crafting.

Allsorts challenge 440 - Blue and Brown

Good Morning, Wendy is in charge of this weeks challenge at Allsorts and she has chosen the theme of Blue and Brown only, but you can stamp in black.

Our Sponsor for this week is Digi Stamp Boutique.

Here are my cards

As I quite liked this colour combo I did another using more of a lighter brown for the backing and a brighter blue

SU label punch.
C.C. Designs stamp - Columbine
Sizzex die for the cut outs and some gems and paper from ages ago. Thought it was about time I tried them out.
The backing on the first card does appear to be black but it is dark brown could not colour the leaves in a darker brown as it did not show the details of the leaves.
I stamped the image twice and then paper pieced the flowers, it does not show on the photo.

Well we had our bonfire and fireworks Friday night so that is over for another year.
Please do pop over to the challenge Blog to see the lovely creations by the rest of the Team.
Have a super week and thanks so much for popping by.
