Rudolph Day - October 2017

So the penultimate RD challenge for 2017 over at ScrappyMo's
Well I think it is, as I have been waiting all day for Mo's post to appear and it still hasn't but since I have seen quite a few have posted their cards I am going to post mine now too. Hope Mo is OK.

These cards were originally going to be for the final RD challenge, going out with a bang, but then realised that I hadn't done the teachers cards yet so I have left them for the last challenge of the year, when I have done them.

Here are my cards.

150 cards for the Company I used to work for,  to send to their customers.
Unfortunately I had put 75 already into the envelopes before I realised that I hadn't taken photo's, well there was no way that I was going to take them back out, so you will just have to believe me that  I did make 150.

It will be a long time before I use this image again!
Woodware Bauble Snowman.
With using my Stamp Perfect tool I could stamp the image and the sentiment together

Various DP and backing card, some kindly sent to me by Parsnips Mum.
Paper pieced the hat and scarf, glittered the hanger thingy at the top.

For the inserts the right hand side gives the greeting and the left hand side gives the names of all the Staff, I do them in different fonts so it looks more like they have been signed personally.

Would you believe a member of staff left the other week, tough, not doing the inserts again.

I have written all my Christmas Cards and yesterday wrapped 6 presents.

Kath x

Look at you go Kath, that’s quite a production line you have yourself here, and to think that I was patting myself on the back when I recently made thirty Christmas cards whilst on holiday! Fabulous cards and well done on your organisation, I may well be coming to you for some tips. Crafty hugs, Sandra x

That is a labour of love isn't it! You are totally AWESOME.

How DARE one of the staff leave after you've included their name on the insert. VERY rude!

I have BOUGHT some Christmas presents (as long ago as January), but I have NOT wrapped any yet, nor written out my cards . . . you are SUPER organised.

Hugs, Sarn xxx

150? Goodness, you must HATE that sweet stamp now! Especially having had to stamp it twice for each card for the paper piecing. Great job but I reckon you deserve a feet-up-and-cup-of-tea moment after all that

Kath, you are a show off!!!! 150 cards...all paper pieced and such a fabulous cute snowbauble! Cannot believe someone had the temerity to leave after you did all the work on the inserts...just sticking them all in must have taken ages!
I have actually bought a few Christmas presents already, was quite proud of this but as for wrapping them up...!

Wow! You have been busy, I don't think I could create 150 similar cards. They look fabulous - a great idea to print the names in different fonts.

These are all fantastic, Kath. I admire your patience...150...Wow!
That snowman stamp lends itself well to batch baking. You were busy stamping though as you had to stamp 300 times for the paper piecing part.

Bet you were glad to be finished and able to put that stamp away for quite a while...
Thanks for taking part in the October Rudolph Days Challenge.

You deserve some sort of endurance award, looking at them has made me feel a bit faint! They are fab and I am sure everyone will absolutely love them - I know I would.

Wow! My total number of Christmas cards is about 10! Very inconsiderate of a staff member to leave, they should have checked with you first! Great job x

Oh Wowzer, you have done well with the Christmas Cards Kath. They are all gorgeous. I love the snowman bauble - so sweet !!! I have made 12 xmas cards from a kit, I have five embossed sentiments, just need some time to make them into a card. :-))
I’m doing ok thanks, but mum’s health is still very up and down. I hope you are doing ok.
It’s going colder and colder isn’t it, I need to wash my warmer jumpers quick before the arctic freeze arrives!!! We’ve had frost, fog, sunshine, blue skies all in one day!
Keep warm and cosy
Have a great weekend!
Lots of Love Sue B xx
