Allsorts challenge week 421 - Flower Power

Good Morning - Flower Power is the theme chosen by our lovely Tracy, plenty of flowers on your creations.
Our Sponsor this week is Tattered Lace.

Here are the prizes on offer for two lucky winners.

Here is my card.

I have used papers by Kanban
Presscut Happy Birthday die.
Memory Box - Chloe Stems and Kirby Blooms
Poppy Stamps - Glorious Gerber Dasies
The flourish type die was a SW die

So I have to admit that I cased this card from a Birthday card I received this year.
I am not really sure if she wants me to say her name but she did give me permission to show her card but I will give you a clue for those who follow her, you can find her behind the bike shed in the playground. more often than not causing trouble.  I loved her card.
Have a great week and thanks for calling by.

Allsorts challenge week 420 - Birthday Boy

Good Morning all, Birthday Boy is the challenge that the lovely Wendy has chosen for this week BUT  you must use a stamped image/images.
This is the lovely prize on offer a clear stamp set by John Lockwood

This is my take on the theme

The stamp is  LOTV which I bought when my Grandson got his first scooter.
The papers are quite old and I think they are Echo Park
The Happy Birthday is off a bought card that I saved as I thought it may come in handy and it has as this card is for my Great-Nephew who will be 5 next month (hence the 5!) I couldn't put his name on with the sentiment being so large.
Have a good week and thanks for popping by.

Boys will be boys

That is the title of the June challenge over at Crafty Calendar challenge blog.

The sponsor for this challenge is

Here is my card.

I actually bought this image while looking for another one because it was so apt for my
Brother-in-Law.
It seemed to just fit him perfectly, he walks with a stick, he has a funny beard and a dog, the dog is actually black but I didn't want to colour it in black incase the lines did not show, so it is actually a dark grey, but looks blueish on this photo. Took the photo numerous times but still came out the same.

I paper pieced the shirt and trousers, LOTV/Nitwits papers, some gold embellishments for the buttons.
Chipboard numbers covered with gold glitter. Name gold mirri card.

I made the card but before I put the name and number I asked my Hubby who do you think this card is for, straight away he said "our kid' as he is my Hubby's Brother, asked my Daughter the same question a day later and she said 'Uncle Steve'
Do you think that I am evil?

Thanks for calling and any comments you are kind enough to leave.

Penny Black and More - Anything goes

This months challenge at PB and more is Anything Goes.
As always the challenge at The Snippets Playground is Anything goes.

For my card I have used a PB image from the transparent set - Botanical Garden.
I stamped the image in each corner on a piece of white card and coloured the image, then stamped again on two snippets of white card.
Cut out the large flower and placed it over the first stamped image. I say flower because I am not certain what type of flower it is, I thought it was a poppy but I am not certain.

I actually made this card for last weeks PB and More challenge but felt it was a tad late to enter so I was pleased when it fitted this months challenge.

My two Grandson's were in Nice last week for the half-term and staying on 'Daddy's Dinghy'
Here is a photo of them on the Tender boat going ashore with the Dinghy in the background.
Here is another shot and one I certainly was not happy about.

Daddy does NOT own the dinghy but he is the Captain.
I have started to call it a Dinghy since Sarn asked me if they were on the 'Dinghy' for the holidays and thought it was a good name for it.
Thanks for popping by

Allsorts challenge week 418 - Christmas in June

Our lovely Susan has chosen this weeks challenge of....
Christmas in June.

Our sponsor this week is Digi Stamp Boutique.

and we also have this lovely  prize for one lucky winner
a Tattered Lace die.

Here is my card.

I have used a pre-colour image from LOTV pre-coloured Christmas pad, the same pad as my last RD cards
The frame is a Crafters Companion and behind the frame is silver glitter card and lots of glitter on her wings.
So now we are into 'Flaming June' reference to the hot weather - no sign of it so far in my neck of the woods.
Another Christmas card into the box.
Hope you all have a lovely week and thanks for calling by.
