Allsorts challenge week 405 - Spring Colour Inspiration

Our challenge this week at Allsorts has been chosen by our fabulous Leader Brenda.
She would like to see Spring Colours on your entries.
She has this colour guide for you to choose from.

Our sponsor this week is Digi Stamp Boutique.

and new Sponsor
Little Claire Stamps.
Little Claire is a team of 3 consisting of Gill (Little Claire) Steve and Carol (long suffering member of staff/friend/all round good egg – but not as beautiful as Gill!). Necessity is the mother of invention’ this is the saying that sums up the creation of Little Claire Designs – we love stamps and what better way to satisfy the stamping ‘urge’ than to create our own designs exactly as we want them!

And this stamp is the prize from Little Claire

Here are my cards

I did the background using Distressed inks using a pan scourer with the yellow sponge part.
Woodware Stamp - Meadow Flowers

This was my second attempt using the green side of the pan scourer and
Stampendous Cling 'Poppy Fields'

This was my first attempt, just adding dots here and there, using Penny Black - Tigress
Both sentiments are Craftwork Cards.
Well a girls got to try different things sometime!. Taken me a long time to move out of my comfort zone

Oh and here is Horrid Henry.

My youngest Grandson, for his World Book Day.
His name is Austin Henry, and not horrid at all.
I am also entering this card in the Sweet Stampin' challenge - no designer papers.

Sorry for all the photo's and thanks for popping by and any comment you are kind enough to leave.

Beautiful cards Kath, and love the background made with the pan scoured! Whatever made you decide to use that?

Awesome texture in the background with this kitchen tool! Appreciate that tip, and both the cards are so pretty & fresh with the cheery colors. Love those flowers too. Also very much like your random dots in #3. Good work on that. I've tried doing the pointillism technique with the copics (where you make tiny dots close together to create texture). I've yet to get one that looks ok. You've done a terrific work on each card. Your grandson's a cutie too!Such a cute idea to preserve his identity...Congrats to him for being involved in World BOok Day. As long as our kids enjoy reading, I think there's hope for the planet! TFS & Hugs
