At last here is my card

This is my very first attempt at a shaker card, sorry, once again about the photo.
In hind-sight (which these days seems to be better than my normal sight) I did not put in enough stuff to shake but I have learned a lesson, so that is good.
The card is Kanban, thought ir was so pretty, even though it has a butterfly one, thought I had better mention that, as I am sure one or two of my followers would.

Oh nearly forgot.... here is my prize

It is a Honey Doo Crafts stamp - Floral Obsession
This stamp has not been used - I bought two, forgetting that I already had one, but I had to take it out of the packet to do the photo as I was reflected in the background and it didn't look good.
Have a great week everyone.

A very feminine and pretty card today Kath, love the shaker element...have tried making these but all the bits tend to escape from mine, obviously I'm not sealing them properly, and as I like to put glitter in them the recipient is not always delighted to have it scattered all over their person and home! I would not dream of mentioning the butterfly! :))

Well your shaker card looks fab to me Kath.. don't think it needs any more in it!! And you've created a gorgeous card around it - I love how you did the frame from floral card... and how you diecut the recipient's name.... that looks so good!

I agree about hindsight... why do things never come to us at the time, rather than later?? Sooooooooo frustrating!! LOL!

Gosh, I think your 1st effort at this shaker window looks great! (I've never made one, bought the fuse tool to try, it's a NBUS!) Love that beautiful flower border, and the little bits you tucked in the scallop window frame. Very colorful and YAY for you at this pretty card!!! WSell done! TFS & Hugs

I thought I'd commented on your lovely card Kath - it's a great shaker card and you don't need a ton of 'bits' inside the shaker element to get the effect (IMHO).

And I did giggle at your comment about the new look blog! Loll did it for me and it actually changed on 19th August last year! :) Snigger.

Hugs

Hi Kath - just popped over from Allsorts and I must say that I really do love your shaker card! I've seen two gorgeous 'shakers' in the last few days and you have really set me off wanting to make one myself. I'm sitting here thinking of the bits and pieces that I have in my stash that I could put in the 'shaking' part ...mmmmmmm I had a sudden urge for chocolate buttons, then again I would probably eat them before they got anywhere near! The Kanban paper/card is so pretty and as a first attempt you are bloomin' brilliant. Hugs to you Sue Pxxx

GOrgeous! These colours are so delicate Kath.
You look to have more than enough shakers in your shaker card. LOve how Lyndia's names in the same colours as your paper too, great idea.
