Allsorts challenge week 385 - Pink October

This weeks challenge has been chosen by the lovely Mervi and as it says on my header it is ...
Pink October, in reference to Breast Cancer.
We are sponsored by Crafty Ribbons

This is my card
I have yet to put a sentiment on, which will go on the bottom right hand side
The background papers - Kaiser Craft
SU ribbon
Image stamped on to LOTV/Nitwits papers with SU white embossing powder and stamped again and cut out and place over the original stamped image.
I really need to put a new camera on my Christmas list.
Pearls from my collection.
Pink October is in reference to Breast cancer.

Annoys me tremendously, what is there for Ovarian cancer, known as the Silent Killer, my Sister was very, very lucky to survive but the other 7 in her ward didn't.

I am also entering this into the In the Pink challenge which also is for Breast Cancer and wants to see ribbon or bows.

GORGEOUS pink card Kath.

I am so pleased to hear your Sister survived her cancer, but feel sorry for the rest of the ward's patients.

Hugs, Sarn xxx

You are right Kath, it's rarely spoken about, a teaching colleague of eldest daughter died from it, very quick and brutal.

Today;s card is lovely for the theme and totally feminine.

Have a good weekend.

Hi Kathleen..... total gorgeousness in PINK! And as it has a ribbon on it, you could enter it in our challenge at In The Pink - in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness, we're asking for ribbons and/or bows!

Beautiful card today Kath, the extra dimension on the flower looks lovely.
There is a website you may be interested in Kath http://ovarian.org.uk/what-we-want/raising-awareness-of-ovarian-cancer/
I agree that breast cancer seems to have a lot higher profile than ovarian, don't know why.

Oh I do like how you have stamped this image onto the LOTV papers and then fussy cut out. You have made a very pretty card. Miss Di and I are already planning our next trip out. Involves the London Underground though? eek!! Hugs Mrs A.

Hi Kath, I hope you are keeping well and managing to avoid all the colds and coughs that are doing the rounds at the moment. Luckily my immune system seems to have kicked in and I've had a good run of late… really hope it continues.
I love your card and the challenges are for such a good cause.. Kaisercraft papers are my favourites… and I love the gorgeous flowers… this could be used for many occasions.
I agree about ovarian cancer, wish they could come up with some kind of screening programme.. it really is a silent killer… I'm glad your sister pulled through ok.
Hope you've had a good weekend
Love and hugs, Sue B xx

Love these bold blossoms with the shades of color. What a perfect look to celebrate with this particular Pink! As always, your layouts are so well designed, and the tiny hot pink border looks grand with the pretty blossoms. TFS & Hugs
