Rudolph Day June 2016

Well I have to say that I am a little later than usual posting my RD card. I am usually a month in advance but not this time .

I have used the Penny Black Slapstick - Frosty's wish.
LOTV papers and
Creative Expressions sentiment die.
Well while I was at it thought I amy make a few more as my Christmas cards
numbers are well down on normal by this time of the year.

So here are the other in different colour ways, did two of each.
So off to Scrappymo's to enter these cards in this months challenge and looking forward to seeing the other entries.

Allsorts challenge week 368 - How does your garden grow

So, ok, how many of you wanted to say....
With silver bells and cockle shells... just me then!

The theme this week was chosen by our lovely Tracy (Craftnut) and our sponsor is Marianne
with this wonderful Prize.

Here is my card

My card today uses another Woodware stamp called Flowers in a row.
Ribbon SU - Daffodil Delight
Green card is also SU
Embossing folder - Cuttlebug
Coloured with Promarkers, mostly using the fine tips.

My original idea was to use pinks and purples but, when on the rare occasion, that the sun came out I went for yellows, oranges and reds and now, while I am writing this post, it is pouring down!
Thanks for popping by and please do go and check out my lovely team mates creations.
Have a great weekend.

Allsorts challenge week 367- Fancy Bows

Good morning, another Saturday and another new challenge for you at Allsorts ,
This week it has been chosen by the lovely Wendy and it is...
Fancy bows or a different way to use ribbon, quite apt as our sponsor this week is...
Here is my card and I have chosen a different way to use ribbons.
The ribbon used here is Crushed Curry by SU.

5.25 x 4.25 tent card, a smaller piece of white scrap card die cut with the Poppy Stamps -
Sparkle burst stars die.
Ribbon adhered to the back of the die cut by one means or another.
A piece of the ribbon across the bottom of the die cut card and then attached to the basic card.
Woodware sentiment stamp punched with SU punch.

So my different way to use ribbon, is to use it as backing, now this is different for me, but I am certain that someone will have done it before.
As I have used a piece of scrap card I will also be entering this card in the Snippets Playground when it opens tomorrow.
Do pop over to the challenge blog and see the lovely creations from my Team mates.
Thanks for looking and hope you all have a great week.

Allsorts challenge - week 366 - The great outdoors

Welcome to our challenge 366
and the challenge of the Great Outdoors was chosen by the lovely Tracy Mouse

Our sponsor this week is Sizzix, with this fabulous prize.

Here is my card.

A huge change of colours for me, peach and pink with a tad of pale orange, but I do like it.
I thought that pastel colours suited this image better than brights, which I tried first. I did the birds a brownish colour because it blended in better than blue.

Stamp - Penny Black -Slapstick/Cling - Good neighbours.
The backing paper are all that's left from a 12x 12 sheet of some old SU set.
Sentiment Craftwork Cards

I do quite a lot of paper piecing and I always cut a piece of 6 x 6 paper that I want to use and then stamp in the middle so the paper can be used again as backing, that is if I like the papers, but you probably have known about this before, I have done this with the dotty paper, so as it is really a snippet I will be visiting the Playground when it opens in the morning, missed a couple of weeks so no idea what to expect.

You may remember a couple of weeks ago I posted a photo of our Blue Tits nest, well we had 8 eggs and all hatched but when we came back from holiday there were only 4 left, now I have taken many photo's but this is the best that I could show,
They had all flown yesterday morning.
