Allsorts challenge - week 365 - In the Pink

Welcome back to another challenge here at Allsorts and after all the excitement of our 7th Birthday challenge, we have some more exciting news for you....
We have a new DT member ANNie of Aussie ANNie fame, please give her a huge welcome.

Susan is the host this week and she has chosen the theme of
- use pink on your creations.

Our sponsor this week is Sizzix
and this is the prize on offer.

This is my card.

From the transparent set Sunny Wishes, bit of a sod to colour but love it.
I have made a narrow tall card to fit the image as I didn't want to over-shadow it with embellishments  and wanted a more of a CAS look.
Sentiment - Craftwork Cards.

Have a fabulous week.
Hope you are all feeling 'in the pink and for those of you who are not retired, enjoy the Bank Holiday.

Oh and for those of you who saw my Rudolph Day post, there is no way that I am going to be making  even one of those cards. I told my Daughter that my name was Scholefield, not Hallmark!

  17. Hi Kath

Your card is gorgeous .. .. so soft and delicate. I love it.

Thank you so much for sharing your special memory on my blog. Those caravan days sound such great fun. Perhaps your Grandad was too sad to return once your Grandma died.

    Sorry he moved away :-(

Hope you are having a good bank holiday weekend.

    Love Jules xx

  20. You've colored these pastel blossoms just marvelously. Love the translucence you've achieved in the pinks, and it looks grand as a longer card. I'm so glad you kept the entire motif on the card front, and it needed NO embellishments to add an extra thing. Loved your answer to your DD about not being Hallmark!!! TFS & Hugs

  21. This is such a very pretty card. Your pink creation was well worth the precise colouring and you are right...it does not need any embellishment. The image is fancy enough on its own.
