Birthday Snippets

Just checked to see which image I used last week for my Snippets Playground card and yes, it was this one, sorry to repeat myself so soon.

Penny Black T for Transparent set - perfect pairing.
White embossed and coloured with a deeper yellow than the card stock, a tad of green on the stems

Now I also spotted that last week I did not point out what was my snippets, sorry Miss.
My snippet this week is the white card that the die was cut from, left over from a 12 x 12 sheet.

Backing card SU, when I made this card it was a lovely bright sunshiny day, so I chose yellow, good job I didn't make it today or I would have chosen grey!(post written 12/4/16)

Sentiment Craftwork Cards
Die is Tonic, Topnote Trellis, you need to have patience to use it but I have had worse.

I am also going to enter this card into the Penny Black and More challenge which is Birthdays.

This post will go live on the 13th of April and I would like to say that yesterday was my 47th Wedding Anniversary, Our Wedding day was a very wild day, my veil flew off, my wedding dress was lifted above my head, thank goodness for petticoats, take note all you young ones who probably never wear them these days. Today it was not windy but it poured down. Do you think the Gods were trying to tell us something? I hope we can make the next 3 years.

Well it may be the same image but it is a totally different look. You've used one of my fav dies too which sets it off perfectly. Congrats on 47 years of marriage. I do remember petticoats in the 70s when no one would be without one! Thanks so much for sharing with us at Penny Black & More.

Gosh Kath, this looks totally different to last week's use of the same stamp. Love it just as much! And congratulations on your anniversary as well - I did giggle at the vision of you battling the breezes! :)

Thank you for coming to play in the Snippets Playground.

Hugs

Hi Kath,
A very Happy Anniversary to you and your husband.
Love this fabulous snippets card.
I do love that Penny Black stamped image and your wonderful die cuts around it.
The colour is glorious and so summery.
Yes isn't it a pity about bad weather on a wedding day.
My Granddaughter got married in July 2012, and the weather was like a winters day it poured down all day long, and it was cold and windy also.
Snap it rained on my my wedding day too.
I would have been marries 49 years this year if my first hubby hadn't passed away.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Your card is beautiful Kath... loving the strong yellow and how you did the flowers in a slightly darker tone.. and of course, I'm LOVING more that fabulous diecut!

Hope you had a lovely anniversary earlier this week (I know I'm late with my commenting), wow.... 47 years!!! I got married in 1976 - remember that really hot summer? We married in August - and it was the first day AFTER the heat.... and you got it, the wind started (veil standing on end), and the rain too - but only in the evening. Ah well......

Big hugs
