Allsorts challenge week 345 - Ribbon and Lace

The challenge for this week was chosen by Susan who wants to see ribbon and lace on your creations, and our sponsor this week happens to be

and

A pair of tickets to the above show

I have used Woodware stamp Baby Patch Elephant.
Papers are all LOTV ( LOTV have a sale at the moment all paper pads and art pads half price as they are not going to be selling them in the future)

Ribbon and lace unknown.

I have to do a blue one too, will be the same but without the lace.
The funny thing is both the Baby cards are for my next door neighbours Sons, she has longed to be a Grandma for years and then they are both having a baby within a few days of each other, one is having a girl and the other a boy.

She is a tad mortified as at the moment the name for the girl is Nora, and her last name will be Petty, sound like we older ones will think of a certain TV programme LOTSW.

Not put any sentiment on yet as the baby is not due till March so I don't want to tempt fate.
There are a lot of snippets used on this card so I will be nipping over to the Playground with this one.

Thanks for popping by, comments very much appreciated and don't be shy, yea or nay, either way.

Kath x

  4. Aww this is gorgeous Kath.. such a sweet image and I love the lace and awesome ribbon! :-))
I have to confess that I chuckled about Nora and LOTSW!! is a lovely name though… all the older names are coming back into fashion.
I'm gutted about LOTV… I use those Art Pads all the time… will have to find an alternative as I don't always have time to colour nowadays! maybe I'll start a new trend of leaving the stamped images b & w!!! :-J
Finally have my bed back…. is bliss!!! also have better access to internet to keep me happy!
Hope you have a lovely weekend

  9. This is so, so sweet. Super pretty, and I adore the elephant!
I have to admit, it feels like LOTV are winding down... The past 18 months they have been cutting one thing after another. Such a shame, because they used to be my favourite shop. :-( x

  27. Hi Kath!

Just spotted your comment about the sidebar Christmas Card Counter I have - would you likey me to email you step by step instructions? Can do - no problem! Once it's set up then, as its your blog, you get to see the little logo for changing that setting on your sidebar without going into the inner workings of the blog and can easily update. Just ping me an email and I'll get back to you - have just set up the other Kath's candy on my sidebar and that's jolted my memory as to how I did the counter :)

Off to bed here - been out and about a lot today and am tired out! Not used to trotting hither and thither - although in truth it's still a bit of a limp rather than a trot :))

    Hugs

    Di xx

  33. Absolutely a perfect baby card. Love the patchwork on this cute Elly...and splendid pairing of the motif lace. Now how did you ever find that trim! Cute story with the names too. We were just speaking of the current naming convention that so many young people do nowadays, and wonder at the guff these kids may have to take in years to come! Oh well, whoever has the baby, has the right to name as they please, is my thoughts! Happy wkend, TFS & stay warm.
