Snippets Playground week 201

Using the lovely Lavinia Stamp (no Name)
and stamped on a snippet of white card
some tiny weenie bits of navy blue card stock to back the sentiment. and border strip.
Papers - sorry, can't find the name but they are double sided( and only 45p a 12 x 12 sheet)  the strip has some gold leaf on it so I have gone round the edge of the image with gold  brilliance ink, looks more yellow on the photo though.
Coloured with Promarkers.
Jury is still out on this one to be honest.

Off to the Playground, hope it is a little bit calmer this week but I have made a loads of parkin so come in and help yourselves

Bought a new printer today I only went for some cartridges for my old one, another nightmare with technology, nearly 4 hours to set up, at my age I am lucky to have lived that long

  1. Well THANK GOODNESS you DID live that long Kath! I think you're being harsh on yourself again . . . this is a lovely card and I especially like the Lavinia stamp you used which is beautifully colour co-ordinated with the papers.

Mmmm, Parkin eh?? YAY - come and see me in my "office" and we'll share it out tomorrow night at the Playground Bonfire Party.

I've packed a bottle of something special for tomorrow, which will be perfect to wash down your homemade parkin. :-)

  4. Well I absolutely love this Kath!!! it's so elegant and pretty! the gold around the frame looks awesome and really love how it picks up the gold leaf in the paper!
Glad you've got your new printer all set up and running.. some of them can be a pain and they don't make instruction booklets like they used to do they!!!!
Hope you have a nice day! I'm still very worried about Thomas btw!
    Big hugs, Sue B xx

  9. Love these delicate stems - so pretty in the blue shades. That dp looks gorgeous with the image, and the gold edging on the oval makes the flowers pop. Also liked the dark navy mat on the rectangle. I like the design layout you've done here. Really shows off the beautiful design of the dp. TFS & Hugs
