Allsorts challenge 327 and Guess what?

Surprise, surprise, I am now a member of the DT for Allsorts, I am so nervous, but mega excited and  also very, very, honoured to join this fabulous Team. I just hope I can live up to the trust placed in me.

It is week 327 at Allsorts  and the challenge is hosted by Mervi which is Lots of Layers

I have used an old favourite PB stamp - Chearful (that is how it is spelt on the stamp)
Stamped with Memento Paris Dusk
Paper pieced with LOTV/Nitwits papers that was from a taster pack and not available anymore.
Navy blue backing card
Dies - Tonic
The ribbon is from a M and S jumper, don't they just get in the way? I am not in the habit of cutting out the ribbons but did with this one as I knew I had no navy blue ribbon.
Blue is not a colour I very often use for female cards but this was a pleasant change.

There are some fabulous prizes from our sponsors.

Jiggery Makery - 3 images of the winners choice.

and this is the prize from
Sizzex
Looking forward to seeing your entries.

  2. Like you I rarely do blue Kath, but I think it works very well here and I am always partial to a bit of paper piecing and a great card to kick off with.

Hope you have a good weekend and welcome to the Allsorts team.

  17. Hi Kath,
playing catch up with my comments again.
    Congrats on your DT placement.
That makes 2 of us new to DT, and I also felt very nervous too.
Your card is so beautiful, and wonderfully designed as usual.
Love the colour blue, and I was not a fan of blue till I started blogging 4 years ago, and have seen such beautiful shades of blue while commenting that I am totally swayed to blue now.
A well deserved placement I think.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
