Here's ....Rudolph

Yep, it's that time of the month again 25th August  - Rudolph Day over at Scrappy Mo's.

I think the red backing card is SU - Real Red
Papers - LOTV - Nit Wits from the Festive Trimmings Pad
Rudolph is a Woodware stamp
Stamped onto a brown paper bag and paper pieced for the face, no way could I colour such a vast space, I have lots of brown paper bags that I have saved from buying items from my local craft shop.

The rest is coloured with Promarkers.
Christmas ribbon - Docrafts.

On my first attempt I did put glossy accents on the nose but it was a tad over the top.
I have also wondered if I should put more embellishments on the card but decided against it, cheapskate I know

I stamped the image on to a snippet of white card stock so this is also going into the Snippets Playground week 191 can you believe it.

Only 3 more Rudolph Days to Christmas.

  18. Sheer genius using the brown paper bag! And you certainly don't need any more on the card Kath - it's perfect just as it is. Made me really smile here - it's absolutely vile weather outside today, raining and windy - need the lights on to find our way round the house!!

  31. Saw this at the Snippets Playground, and clever you to have fit in with Rudolph Day too! It just made me grin real big..so cute, so fun, and love the bright colors. This Rudy just looks so happy with his big smile and wearing all the traditional festive colors. Very clever also to stamp on brown paper so you didn't have to color (now I would never have thought to do that!). WTGo, as this is just adorable. TFS & Hugs

I love the idea of the brown paper bag...and agreed use to up cycle it as well.

That image is so fun and playfull.

They are gradually cutting up sad disposing the trees that were downed. Just a few doers Dow the hill, a neighbour had some of their vinyl siding torn off the house...yikes!

Thanks for taking part in the August Rudolph Days Challenge.
