Blue as the Ocean

This weeks challenge at Allsorts is Blue as the Ocean

Now without looking it up not sure if the waters in the Caribbean are seas or oceans, have a feeling they are seas, so not sure if this is acceptable but this reminds me of the lovely sparkling waters with the sun shining on it. Certainly doesn't remind me of the North Sea. Publish and be damned, as someone once said.

Yes it is that Delicate Mum die - again,  but I have made a card using one and two of the flowers and this one uses three.
Again with the lovely shimmer papers and a sentiment from Craftwork Cards, which I coloured round the edges with a Promarker.
Hope you are all enjoying this fabulous weather.

Kath x

Wow Kath - it looks fabulous with three, and the colours do look like sparkling water in the ocean! (I'm not sure either, what the difference is between oceans and sea)!
Have a lovely week - Sylvia xx

Seas? Oceans? They're both deep and wet and look amazing and beautiful with the sun sparkling on them...as does your fabulous card!
I am very definitely enjoying this lovely weather... and Wimbledon...!

I'm not sure either Kath, but I am there with you watching the sparkling waters, cocktail in hand and feeling the warmth of the sun....................I dream well as it's ages since we went there.

Anyhow, love your take on our theme and it's a really elegant creation.

Thanks so much for sharing with us at Allsorts challenge this week.

Pretty, pretty. Love the way you've backed the negative of these gorgeous flowers with the shimmers in the background. I'm waffling on this die. It's so pretty, and I'm getting very weak after seeing how you've used it so splendidly! TFS & have a great wkend. Hugs

Egads, woman, this is definitely sparkly and reminds me, too, of the sun shining off the deep blue of the sea/ocean/bay! That's a beautiful die so I can understand why you would want to use it as often as possible! Hugs, Darnell

Hi Kath

Very beautiful indeed!

In fact I have been having a trawl back and seen some wonderful creations .. .. especially the robin card(s) you did for May Rudolph Day .. .. yes I am that far behind :-(

Life has been super busy wedding wise and left me with hardly any time for blog posting and visiting. But thank you for your visits and comments - I do appreciate them.

Hope you are having a good weekend.

Love Jules xx

Just wanted to tell you, this die arrived in our mail yesterday. Ordered it after seeing your work on this sparkling card, and hope the die isn't as fiddly to work with, as it looks it might be. Thanks for the enablement! Hugs
