Rudolph Day - March 15

March is nearly over and everyone is thinking of Spring but over at Scrappymo's we are thinking of Christmas as it is Rudolph Day once again and with the huge downpour of hailstones we had Tuesday it might well have been.

While making the card for the Allsorts challenge to use brads, a couple of weeks ago, I had a go at making another.

I stamped the Woodware tree with VersaMark onto a snippet of red card and used WOW sparkling snow, embossing powder.
The backing is white glitter paper with SU ribbon, brads and metal stars from years ago.
Sentiment Craftwork Cards.

A long weekend at  Centre Parcs with Grandson's and their Mum and Dad, 5 hours in the pool on Saturday and 4 hours on Sunday really tired me out, and I was only spectating, I would have gone in but unfortunately I could not find my swimming costumn anywhere, to be honest I could not remember which Charity bag I had put it in, thank goodness.

Ok with the snippet of red this is also going into the Snippets Challenge week 169

For those of you with a nervous disposition, look away now,

I have bought two Birthday cards, I am still in shock and minus an arm and a leg.

  14. Love the card Kath, such a lovely shimmery creation, perfect for Christmas, love all those brads too!
Still smirking over the ' lost' cossie, you devious lady...will remember that trick!:)
I went to Centre Parks once, years ago when my son was at the 'Kevin' stage ....an experience never forgotten and never repeated. He only wanted to partake in the activities that you had to pay ( a lot) extra for....found myself doing archery, fencing etc....I went in the pool - too crowded and splashy wish I'd thought of the cossie trick then!

  32. That embossing powder is amazing. I thought the tree was die cut and that was glitter paper. And what a clever idea using brads as the ornaments. That tree stamp is lovely.
