Snippets Playground week 163

This isn't the actual card I was going to post but that has been lost in the wonderful world of iPhoto

Image, papers LOTV
Chipboard letters and numbers covered with snippets of the papers,
snippet of SU ribbon
Corner die - Macarena - Memory Box
Spellbinders shaped die, actually borrowed from my Sister years ago, tip there for you
"Don't lend me anything"
Bow and gems been hanging around my craft room for ages.
Another card using a shaped card that I am on a mission to use.
Not a good photo and can't really blame the weather, but due to the fact I haven't got my head round using the new system, I am a prime example of the saying 'You can't teach an old dog, new tricks'

That's the boring bit covered and those of you who do not visit the Playground can leave now.

Surprise, surprise, I have been on holiday and I have brought back a fabulous pet, or playmate for Parsnip, once I have I have got Iggy used to the climate and decided on what food he likes here in the UK and I can find a carrier willing to transport him (or her, not sure about sexing Iguana's) he/she will be winging it's way to the Playground, this will be Parsnips lucky day, a late Christmas present.

Thanks for looking and I can assure those of you who think I have lost the plot, there are many of us about, and I hope very soon to post a photo of Iggy, when he has recovered from Jet lag.

Kath xx

SCREAM!!! I hadn't even seen this post Kath but had picked up on iguana rumours and had even christened the critter Iggy! But, Parsnip has gone to ground shaking like a leaf and I'm not far behind him! I'm terrified of lizards and snakes and will abandon the Playground and run for the hills if a pet carrier arrives here!!!!

Now, your card - it's beautiful Kath. Love stepper cards and the image plus papers are beautiful - very clever idea to add the corner die cut as well.

My running shoes are on standby so no funny business!!

Di xx

Such a fun Post Kath - can't wait to see Iggy! Gorgeous card - love the step design and the beautiful floral papers. Hope Sis gets her die back one day!!

What a lovely card Kath. Absolutely gorgeous papers and die cutting.

Looking forward to seeing Iggy scurrying around the Playground once he/she's out of quarantine.

That is so unfair, I wasn't allowed a Platypus in the playground!

I love the die cut you have used on the LOTV image. I spy a butterfly and ribbon so you could come and Flutterby my Butterly Challenge #24. Minus the iguana of course. Hugs Mrs A.

Hope you had a great holiday Kath, you obviously had time to relax, 7 lovely!
Fabulous card, so pretty, love that delicate image...can just imagine you sitting on that chair...nose stuck in a book!
I get the impression that Di isn't too happy with Parsnip's intended new playmate....

Hi Kath,
what a very super snippets creation.
I love your wonderful stepper design, and the paper used is so lovely and spring like.
Just hope spring is around the corner, as it's very dull here in my part of Kent today.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Another fabulous shaped card, Kath, and excellent use of snippets! Welcome back, if I haven't already told you that! I can't wait to meet Iggy! Iguanas are super cool (our son had one for a time) and I think [it] will get along famously with Parsnip. I assume the one you have is quite furry, so the cold shouldn't be a problem, but it is tricky to get the diet sorted out. I know you can do it!! Have a great weekend!! Hugs, Darnell

Awesome fold card...I'm always impressed by step cards. Love the trims & the wonderful little garden chair scene. Makes one long for summer days & sipping tea. Liked the way you did the flourish in the same background dp too. Good detail. Now onto Iggy: I will reserve judgement on Mr. I. We have friends whose sons have Spike - who is sort of white - and huge. He likes to break out of his cage, and when we visit, I always inquire as to if he is at home, or loose. When they tell me he is not home, I don't go in the house! They think it's funny. I don't go in around the S... critters either. But if I is cute & cuddly like Parsnip, then I will be just fine with him! Glad you are back in business, all rested & ready to go! TFS & big hugs. Hope V. day was great at your house. TFS & Hugs

Hi Kath…. I thought I'd not visited you for a while and see this card which I'm sure didn't come up on my Bloglovin Feed! I will have to keep a closer eye on it. Anyway, I'm very sorry that I'm so late…
what a beautiful design this card is… I love the side stepper design… it works so well with the name and 50… and the image and papers are gorgeous! :-))
I can't wait to see Iggy... I don't like reptiles as a rule but do like iguanas... think they are the cutest reptile there is.
Hope you have a lovely weekend!
Big hugs, Sue B xx
