Rudolph Day Feb, 2015

It is Rudolph Day again over at Scrappymo's and this is my February card.

Sorry about the photo but try as I may I couldn't get one to look right.
Stamp - Woodware - Holly Ring
The backing card is red as you can see on the left side.
I have used cream card, for a change and don't really like it.
The colouring looks dreadful on the photo but it isn't IRL.
I have embossed the image, coloured with Promarkers and then sprayed it with Spray and Sparkle.

Thanks for looking and just a note for those of you who are Playmates, Iggy's snoring is getting on my nerves, and it doesn't help with Chris joining in as well.
I know it is going to upset a lot of people but I really am going to have to re-think his future. (Iggy's that is, not Chris's)

  11. That is one awesome design, Kath! I really love this card!!

I am sorry to hear about Iggy's snoring. It's more than any one woman can stand having two of them go at it. Is a separate flat for you out of the question, leaving the two of them to it? Well, then, we need to research Farms for Discarded Iguanas, don't we? I'm sure there are several throughout the world, perhaps next to those farms one sees for zebras who no longer know how to zeeb. Hugs, Darnell

  15. Lovely card there Kath.
Poor Iggy. How about you moving into a different bedroom and leaving the boys to sort their snoring problems out?
Funny enough I recorded Dobby's snoring the other night....gee whizz!!

  16. A fabbie card Kath... you've got lovely sparkle on those leaves!! And I know exactly what you mean about the colours being different in real life - I don't know how when I use the same colour red or pink throughout a card - the camera can turn it into different shades that look like they don't match!

Your last para doesn't make sense to me.... but I FEEL for Iggy!

    Hugs

  17. That Spray and Sparkle puts a nice finish on your card. I like using cream for some of my Christmas cards, and I think it has worked fine on yours too. Kate x

  21. Sorry to be late in getting round to your Rudy Day entry, but it's beautiful. Enlarging the photo shows off the great dimension & detail of the holly....looks like stained glass to me, the way you've done this. The sparkle of the papers is so pretty, ditto the embossed background...and like the rounded corners of the central motif layers with the squared outer edges. Well done, and you are definitely back in the card making swing after your fab holidays. TFS & Happy wkend. Hugs too.

  22. I love that holly stamp Kathleen and the green looks good with the cream and red. The spray-n-sparkle gives it a lovely sparkly and shiny look, and the embossing in the background is very pretty too. Thank you for your lovely comment. x
