Sir Stampalot Challenge - February challenge

Well this is a totally different type of card for me but that is one reason I really started a blog to try different ideas and learn new skills instead of being stuck in the same routine, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

The stamp is Hero Arts and what I call an inverted stamp, the background is stamped in a colour, in this case Memento, Pear Tart, and the image comes out white. I have used various Ranger distressed inks to colour in the flowers, using a thing that you put on your finger and dab with, can't remembert the actual name of them.

MS butterfly punch, yes I know I don't like butterflies on cards but you do get butterflies in the garden and this is one butterfly image I can tollerate.

All card is from Craftwork Cards.

The papers are Prima.

Thank you all for looking and any comments are more than welcome.

I think you used a finger dabber, I bought some more at the show on friday so I don't have to mix colours

  3. This is a beautiful card Kathleen.... I LOVE those colours you've used and that technique is gorgeous!

And I'm with you re butterflies... I don't mind wasps and bees in the garden, but if I see a butterfly I'm liable to turn and run no matter how beautiful people tell me they are!! But I do have one or two punches now... just struggle to use them!
